❀ Flower Shop ☾ - Tomioka Giyuu

Chapter 5

             It was bright and early when Momoka landed on your window. Today, you were going on a mission with Muichiro. It had been so long since you got to hang out with one of your first friends here. You got up to shower and put on the haori you bought when you were in Osaka with Giyuu. It was your first time wearing it since you got it and you forgot how beautiful it was. After eating, you rushed to the door to find Muichiro.

"Oh, hey Y/N! Where ya goin'?" Mitsuri stopped you.

"Oh, I need to find Muichiro. We should have been starting our mission an hour ago but I can't find him," you explained.

"Hm, have you checked his estate? He might have slept in again!" she said.

"Ah, you're right. Thanks Mitsuri, I'll see ya around!" you said, running towards Muichiro's estate.

"He's always sleeping," you chuckled to yourself.

       You had became so impatient that you just entered his estate without knocking. His place was big and it fit his personality. You opened the door to where he sleeps and found him sleeping peacfully in his futon. You had to admit he looked adorable. He was like a little brother to you since you were so close to him.

"Muichiro! Get up, we have to go soon!" you said, ripping off his blanket.

"Y/N..? What are you doing here..?" he said, sleepily.

"Muichiro, did you forget? We have a mission today," you said, getting his uniform ready.

"Oh yeah.. sorry. I was really tired today.." he said as he got up taking his uniform from your hands.

"Your always tired, Muichiro," you laughed as you sat on his futon to wait for him to get ready.

"You can go that way, I think I heard one over there," you pointed for Muichiro.

"Got it," he said.

After finishing up your mission, you two headed back to your own estates separately. Before walking back to yours, you headed up a mountain. It was a nice clear night and no signs of any demon in your area. Hiking up the mountain, you heard a sword slashing through a tree. Curious, you walked faster to see who it was.

"Giyuu! What are you doing up here..?" you said, surprised.

"Same with you," he said, sheathing his sword.

"I-I just came up here for fresh air, I've been out all day so I haven't had time to myself.." you explained.

"I see, I'll get going than," he said.

"Oh, no no that's okay! You can stay! Or I mean, you don't have to but you can..!" you stuttered.

He chuckled, "I'll stay."

You sighed. By now, everyone probably knows you have a crush on him. You didn't want to admit it but you knew it was true. You both sat near a tree and kept silent for awhile. It wasn't an awkward silence at all, but more of a calming silence. Just knowing that he was next to you made you feel safe. You closed your eyes for one second without realizing that you had fallen asleep.

The birds' loud chirping woke you up. You had forgotten that you had fallen asleep against a tree but looking to your side, you saw a sleeping Giyuu. Who would've thought he would stay with you on the mountain even when you were asleep. You stared for what seemed like hours, admiring his features. After awhile of playing with the flowers, you heard footsteps coming up to the mountain. It did seem way to early to be awake. You estimated that it was around 5am because of the beautiful sunrise coming up infront of you. The footsteps seemed to get louder. Eventually, you saw Mitsuri and Obanai standing there looking shocked.
