Chapter 11

        "Shinazugawa?!" I yelped due to the pain in my neck.

"Oh no, he woke up," Gnim frowned. "You ruined the fun."

He didn't say a word but only waited for Gnim to attack again. He never did though. I held onto my neck, being still able to fight. As a hashira, your duty is to fight until death for your people.

"I see, I won't go first so come when you want," Gnim sat down on the floor.

Shinazugawa rolled his eye and sped off to Gnim's left. I tried to watch his movements but he was to quick. 

                               'Eighth Form: Primary Gale Slash' I hear him murmur.

In a blink of an eye, Shinazugawa was able to land a hit on Gnim. But it just wasn't enough and he ended up getting hurt.

"SHINAZUGAWA-SAN!" I shouted.

As he swung his blade, generating torrents of wind, Gnim rushed behind him somehow and threw his blades again, right into his neck and arms.

As I watched, I could see a pattern of attacks coming from Gnim, he was constantly teleporting behind his opponent. I might be able to take advantage of this fact..

I let go of my neck, that was still in pain, and swung my sword to his arm that was still in the air. I was able to finally do some damage to him.

"Get up!" I shouted directed to Shinazugawa.

"Don't give me orders!" he said standing up. His arms were not in good condition and neither was his neck.

I could tell Gnim was starting to get real with us. Blades and scissors flying everywhere, left and right. How many did this guy have?! They were pretty much avoidable and unfortunately, affected us. Cuts on our face, arms, and through our pants. We were thinking the same thing, I could tell. We just could not figure out how to dodge his blades without using our swords.

They eventually stopped coming and Gnim disappeared. This time, I knew his moves and attacks. I jumped forward grabbing Shinazugawa's arm, bringing him with me. 

"Yahooo!!" Gnim appeared in front of us stabbing my right eye and Shinazugawa's left.

"AGHH..!" we held onto our eyes to slow the bleeding. My left eye, filled with tears from the pain, my vision eventually blurred. 

"(Y/N)! SNAP OUT OF IT." Shinazugawa shook me. 

Gnim stood from afar. His face changed from a smirk to being aware of his surroundings. Even if my vision was blurry, I had no reason to not continue fighting. We looked at eachother, knowing what we had to do.

We ran in the opposite direction to catch Gnim off guard. Running to a far away tree, holding my right eye. We jumped off a tree for a boost towards our target.

                                          'Seventh Form: Piercing Rain Drop'

                                          'Seventh Form: Gale- Sudden Gusts'

I, rushing to Gnim's right side, and Shinazugawa, rushing to Gnim's left side, I pierce his heart with a sharp stab. Shinazugawa shreds Gnim's remaining body. We both fall together losing conciseness.

I'm v sorry that this was short and if the updates will take a bit longer, school is very stressful rn haha.. anyway, this was a little break from the Tomioka chapters. He will come back next chapter and the bit of Shinazugawa x reader has ended! ily all stay safe <3
