❀ Flower Shop ☾ - Tomioka Giyuu

Chapter 4

   It was a lovely day to visit Mr. Urokodaki and Tanjiro. Ever since you became a pillar, you were so worked up about going on missions so you didn't have much time to check up on Tanjiro. Today, it would be your first time going in 4 months. You were sure he made lot's of progress and hoped Nezuko would be awake by now. You got up and headed to headquarters to tell Oyakata that you were going to be visiting.

"May I speak with Oyakata?" you asked the twins.

"Yes, right this way." they replied in unison.

"Y/N, hello. What can I do for you today?" he greeted.

"I'm going to be visiting Mr. Urokodaki today if that's okay with you. It's been so long and I want to see my family again." you said, hopeful.

"Of course. You have fun today, okay? Be safe my child," he replied.

"T-thank you!" you said bowing and leaving.

As you walked out you saw a few of the pillars eating breakfast since it was the house maids' day off. You haven't eating in a few days because you were training yourself from day to night. Muichiro was sitting near a tree eating his lunch.

"Hey, Muichiro. How are you?" you asked.

"The same as ever." he replied sounding dead.

"Glad to hear, see you around!" you waved and started walking away. He was never talkative but he was one of your only friends there. As you started to leave, you were stopped by Giyuu.

"Could I come with you today?" he asked.

"W-with me? Sure, I don't mind at all!" you said, excitedly. It was nice to go with someone and not be alone for once.

You guys walked for awhile and so you took many breaks. Walking around with Giyuu was fun when you were in Tokyo for a mission.

You sighed, "It's nice today, why don't we do something before we head back?"

"Hmm, where do you want to go?" he replied.

"I've been wanting to go to Osaka again. There were so many places I wanted to go but couldn't because I was on my mission.." you said.

"Sure, let's go," he said.

"R-really? Yay!!"

You and Giyuu walked around for hours going to the different stands and stores. You bought a new haori as well that matched your hair more than anything. You shared dango with him and had salmon for lunch. The sun was setting so you decided it was time to go home.

"Ahh, that was so fun Giyuu! Thanks for coming with me!"

"No, I had a good time, too. We should travel more instead of staying in our estates," he said smiling at how happy you were.

You knocked on the door and it slowly creaked open.

"Tanjiro! It's been so long!"

"Y/N! You're finally back! H-hello, it's nice to meet you," he bowed at Giyuu.

"Tanjiro, you seem a lot better than before," Giyuu said, slightly smiling at him.

"T-Tanjiro, do you remember Tomioka-san? We met him in the woods awhile back.." you said, sitting down at the table.

"I recognize his face, it's very nice to see you again!" he said looking towards Giyuu.

"Yes, you too. How is your sister doing?" he asked.

"She's still asleep. I've been training extra hard these couple of months and I think it's finally paying off! I want to turn Nezuko human again!" he said, anticipated.

"I'll make some tea for us. Where is Mr. Urokodaki, Tanjiro?" you asked standing up.

"I think he's outside doing something.." 

You made tea while you watched Tanjiro and Giyuu talk. You were glad there wasn't tension between them. Tanjiro looks happier now but he also looks very tired. You knew he hadn't been able go slice the boulder. You had been in the same situation when you were his age. You wanted to help him so bad but being a hashira wasn't that easy.

"Tomioka-san, how old are you? It's been awhile since I've seen you," he asked.

"I think 20 now, I don't keep track anymore." he replied. "What about you, Y/N?"

"W-well, I'm 18 right now.. but I can't remember my last birthday. I probably had it when I was 2 or something.."

"Wow Y/N! I rememeber when you told me you were 16!" Tanjiro exclaimed as you set down the tea.

You all  finished up and you went to wash the cups.

"I'm going to be washing up, I hope you two don't get bored, heh.." he laughed.

"No no that's okay," you said finishing up. You walked to where Nezuko had been sleeping, just  to see her face.

"Nezuko, wake up soon. Everybody misses you," you murmered, smiling at her sleeping face.

"I'm sure she will. After everything Tanjiro did, she has too, don't worry," Tomioka said sitting next to you.

"I sure hope so.. I think I know why she's been out for so long. But it's probably not true," you said, feeling sleepy.

"Tell me when you are sure enough." he replied as your head slowly fell onto his shoulder.

'I'll wake up soon,' Nezuko said, watching them cuddle together on the wall for warmth.

"Wake up, lovebirds!" a loud voice yelled.

"Mmm I'm tired Momaka!" you yelled at your crow and opened your eyes.

"Oh gosh..how did I manage to fall asleep on Giyuu!!" you yelled in your mind

"You have to get back, you can't hide forever!!" Momaka said.

Giyuu slowly awoke because of the loud ruckus. He saw your face hiding in your hands and he smiled. He knows what happened but didn't want to say it. 'She was so cute sleeping, I shouldn't say anything.' he thought.

"Let's go say bye to Tanjiro and Mr. Urokodaki. We really should get back soon," he said standing up.

"R-right!" you said, trying to sound awake.

You walked out the door and started to head home. It was like a vacation that you didn't want to leave. Spending time with your family and Giyuu was like a fantasy to you, it was great. There were no worries, stress, or problems in your life when you were with them. You were sad to leave but knew you had to go.

"So," Giyuu started, "Can I come with you next time?"
