wooyoung pov

still sitting on his swing, wooyoung waited patiently for yunho to continue his explanation. he felt his heart beating a little too fast for his liking but there was nothing he could do to control it. human body , so fascinating.

"well... I'm not 100% sure if it's really the sheets you're looking for or my imagination is playing tricks on me- .... but when we got back to the room-" he scratched the back of his neck and looked up at the sky to make sure he didn't leave any details out. "the prince was right next door and I saw him put something in his pocket. It was white so I guessed it was a piece of paper , or i'm just simply colour blind. anyway hum he didn't even glance at us and left like a thief. so that was pretty suspicious"

the poor wooyoung sighed heavily and slapped his forehead repeatedly.

"this gotta be a joke !! of all the people in the world my diary sheets had to end up in the prince's hand ??"

now the Prince would know about his misadventure with the handsome stranger in his garden. somewhere  he was not supposed to be in the first place...

the young man's thoughts began to swirl in his head and the worst case scenarios were the first to present themselves. was he going to get his head cut off after confessing to running away during the day, going to the garden etc.? but the worst part of it all was the personal details he had left in his passages. plus it's not like the prince was a very nice person and was going to try to find him to give him back what belonged to him. well is he ? exactly.

"what are you going to do woo?"
he himself didn't know exactly what he was supposed to do. he bit his lip a few times and then let himself fall to the ground dramatically.

"ahh but it can't be that bad can it? it's not like you said he was fuckable or anything."

"weeell—"

yunho's eyes were on the verge of popping out of their sockets and stared at wooyoung intensely.

" JUNG WOOYOUNG ??"

"I'm kidding!!! i'm not talking about the prince on the paper, only the mystery man ... plus i'm sure he doesn't know him anyway ! so im pretty sure i'm safe."

ah poor wooyoung, so young, so innocent. who's gonna tell him tho ?

a third young man appeared in the background and threw himself on wooyoung's back ,making him lose his balance and fall flat on the ground. " ayy thanks man" said the victim rolling his eyes.

"sorry woo, but yolo what did I miss?"

"yo yeosang. nothing important except that  a part of wooyoung's diary fell into the hands of the prince."

"oh nothing surprising then."

the three young men burst out laughing together and began to just talk about everything , ignoring the consequences that could happen.

all remained was to find a way to get the sheets of paper back.

SAN POV

The night passed quickly unfortunately for the prince who had difficulty falling asleep.  insomnia at its best.
so when he heard the curtains of his room opening a long sigh escaped his lips. he turned onto his back and stuffed his head into his pillow so as not to kill his eyes with the sharp light  but he was quickly pulled down from his bed.

"damn no one knows how to be delicate here or what" he grunted as he rubbed his eyes a few times to look at the face of his assailant, who of course was none other than his great friend Mingi.

"Good morning your majesty! Hongjoong couldn't make it so he sent me, I hope you don't mind."

the prince rolled his eyes, ignoring him, then struggled to get up and lay back down on his bed.

"good.... I came here to warn that your mother is not in a very good mood this morning and um she has an announcement for you. well that's what another guard told me, which is a bit weird... but her orders are orders." mingi smiled awkwardly and placed a cup of coffee he had in his hands on the small bedside table beside him.
"Anyway, I think you're going to need it. She wants to see you in ten minutes."  he saluted the prince once more before leaving him alone.

san really didn't know what his mother wanted from him but it couldn't be a good thing. but she almost never disturbed his sleep before.

"I'll never be able to read these damn sheets if it goes on like this"

after a few minutes of intense thinking  he finally found the motivation to get up and get dressed.  nothing too chic because san wasn't in the mood at all for that right now. so he just quickly put on some jogging trousers with a hoodie.  he brushed his hair back a little before stopping in front of his mirror and admired  his reflection.

"I'm so handsome" he then winked at himself before leaving his room for real.

the hallways were very quiet for once , not like he minded but it was just a bit suspicious. he then arrived at the door of the office and was surprised to see that the door was wide open because usually his mom loved intimacy and would always close it. he took a quick glance inside the room to see if his mother was inside but did not see her sitting in her chair as usual.

the prince quickly realized that no guards were standing near the door, another unusual thing. who would leave a queen alone ??

"what's going on today..." he said in a whisper to himself, looking around for someone, literally anyone would've made him happy.

but since he found no one he just dropped it and went back to his room as if nothing had happened and dropped onto his bed once more.

he had to get back his lost sleep before the last night of the ball. after laying for a while he finally noticed a strange white smoke hovering in his room, but it was already too late to do anything as he was taken to dreamland very quickly.

however, just before he fell unconscious he saw a face. a strangely familiar face.

WOOYOUNG POV

"guys, I'm going down to the village and I'll be back in a short while," said wooyoung  as he headed for the front door.
yunho and yeosang were both lying on the couch, throwing rocks in the air to pass the time.

"okay, if you find something, feel free to steal it. we won't snitch"

wooyoung laughed for a moment and then carefully closed the door behind him, otherwise it would have flown off to a distant country.  it was pretty fragile and no ones want to replace a door.

the young man had put on a kind of cloak that allowed him to camouflage himself between people and was honestly very practical.

the village was at least a 15-minute walk from their homes, which was pretty great if you wanted to clear your thoughts and everything.  so perfect for wooyoung!

as he was walking towards the village the boy randomly got goosebumps and his first  reflex was to look at the castle.

"eh stop thinking about that place woo."
