two months had already passed, and yet woooyung still couldn't bring himself to say goodbye to the tiny little home he shared with his two best friends. despite the luxurious palace they now lived in, the three boys just couldn't part with the memories they'd made there. so every now and then they would go back there, to sleep, to play or anything really.

of course, wooyoung hadn't fully adjusted to the lavish lifestyle of the palace yet. it was nice, however, to no longer have to worry about where their next meal would come from. he also still went into town to greet the merchants, but now he was known as the prince's lover, and had gained a lot more respect than before. he could've gone without it of course, but it was nice.

oh and the queen had accepted wooyoung entirely, even though he was a man, saying it was about time for some change in the town. she even went so far as to say that wooyoung would make an excellent king one day - an idea that he ignored completely, not quite ready for such a responsibility yet. san however respected his decision and showered him with love instead. he didn't rush him into anything, just being there to support in whatever he wanted.

another new thing for wooyoung was that he no longer needed his diary. he kept it around for sentimental reasons, but now whenever he felt the urge to write something down, he instead vented all his thoughts and stories to san. and the prince was more than happy to be his replacement diary, loving to hear about wooyoung's daily life and adventures (which were nothing compared to their own they went through!).

and to everyone happiness, yunho and mingi finally confessed their feelings for each other after what seemed like an eternity – you could practically see the sparks between them as they finally began dating and trained hard to become part of san's army. it was about damn time that they did something about the tension.

on yeosang side, he also developed a little something. he grew closer and closer to san's cousin, jongho, and it was quite the sight to behold.

also, it was clear that yeosang had been born to wield a sword, as he diligently trained to become a knight – and proudly boasted about having saved wooyoung's life multiple times during the battle. he couldn't blame him though and he was so happy that he found his way, his meaning.

felix him, he returned to his kingdom to reunite with his beloved hyunjin, and promised wooyoung that he would come back with him to make them meet, and wooyoung couldn't wait. oh yesh, and they learned that félix had also played a crucial role in the entire mission – thanks to him, the queen was alive and well. everyone was grateful to him for that.

and finally, seonghwa and hongjoong, san butler, after seeing everyone getting together they finally admitted that they had been secretly dating for a while now. ( not that this was a surprise to anyone— except san because he was a very oblivious person.)

wooyoung as of right now, wandered through the gardens, taking in the beauty of each different flower. he had helped the queen restore the gardens to their former glory, and the sight was truly breathtaking. after all, she no longer needed to mourn anyone. her passion for flowers then come back and everyone was happy to see her shine.

he had also learned many stories about his parents from the queen, which had brought him closer to them and filled his heart with joy. he wore the necklace that she had given him around his neck every day as a reminder of this precious gift.

suddenly, wooyoung felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind, followed by a gentle kiss on his head. he raised his head to find san standing there with a wide smile on his face. "hi," said the prince as he gave wooyoung a gentle squeeze.

"hi," replied wooyoung, feeling his heart fill with love at the simple sight of his lover.

"can you believe this is where we shared our first kiss?"

oh yeah. he could never forget this moment — where san lowkey traumatized him.

"how about we make this kiss better?"

wooyoung smiled and nodded, before turning around to passionately lock lips with san. it was almost unbelievable how his life had turned out – he never thought he could have his own happily-ever-after, but here he was, living it. with everyone he held dear to his heart.

THE END.
