wooyoung couldn't help but feel uneasy about the plan. while he was excited to finally get out of the town and have an adventure, the prospect of someone getting hurt or even all of them dying was a daunting one. he glanced at the prince and guard, wondering if all the energy and time they had put into the prince healing would be for naught if he ended up getting even more hurt.he hated being pessimistic, it wasn't like him but the little voices in the back of his head was quite convincing.
"ok so tomorrow we're heading out to the east to go see that doctor i heard of. apparently he can do miracle and heal anything." said mingi with a hint of enthusiasm in his voice, he then continued "we should all head to bed to get the most energy. we don't know how many days we will actually end up walking," the guard said, getting up from his chair.
wooyoung couldn't help but still feel a twinge of disapproval at the plan, but he kept his thoughts to himself to not make it worse for all of them. he was sure yunho and yeosang were looking forward to that adventure, but he couldn't help but worry about the unknown dangers that lay ahead of them. who knew what they could meet on the road?? plus none of them, except the two royals, knew how to fight.
if only he had taken those sketchy classes from that old man downtown about fighting. they could've came handy right now.
"i'm kinda excited to get out this town, for like once in my life." said yunho, confirming wooyoung thoughts. "without having to worry about money or stuff like that."
welp this time we were talking about life on the line but you know, money was quite the factor too.
"you know what? same, maybe we'll discover so many stuff we didn't know about." added yeosang, with a nod of approval, also getting up from his chair.
as everyone was getting ready to go sleep, wooyoung waited a little behind for them to get comfortable before grabbing his diary from the desk drawer in their bedroom.
dear diary,
it's me, wooyoung, like always yea. i'm feeling a bit apprehensive about the future right now, which is unusual for me as I usually dive right in stuff without really thinking about the repercussions, but now it's different. my gut is telling me to be cautious, which i don't personally like since it's almost always right.
on the other hand, i'm lowkey grateful that i get to travel with my best friends our first stop is to the west to visit a doctor who can supposedly heal the prince's wrists like magic.
i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works - i can't imagine life without my hands. he's so brave - he hasn't even shed a single tear, while i'd be bawling like a baby. i'm so impressed by his courage.i also think this is where peasants and royals really differ. i'm not saying he doesn't have humanity, but damn it, he's strong. ( and i'm not.) his mom must be so scared right now, thinking they're going to do something bad to her baby. i can't even begin to imagine how she must feel and i wouldn't want to be in her place.
