"Finally the time that everyone has been waiting for. Ladies and gentlemen, nobles and noble women, welcome to our royal Masquerade! These next three nights are going to be some of the best you'll ever have, you can even spend the night in our guest rooms! Have fun and maybe find love ~" The queen welcomed everyone with a sweet and caring smile.
"Hoorah Queen Yoon-ah!"
The queen was wearing a slim blue dress with a blue mask. So yes, she was absolutely stunning.
Yoon-ah made her way to her seat and sat down next to her son who wasn't paying attention to anyone.
"Now you better get your ass up and greet the nation you're going to rule." The queen whispered. " and that's an order from your queen." she added before lifting him up and pushing him towards the dance floor.
San, who was severely disappointed, walked slowly from where he was pushed to and sighed. He was wearing a black suit with a red bow tie. His hair was up with a little touch of hair gel and his makeup was totally on point, but there was something wrong about his clothes, only one small thing... he didn't bring a mask with him.
"Sup peeps, welcome to a stupid ball with stupid masks. Have fun and leave soon. Thanks."
"Wow, I'm proud of you Sannie! You managed to tell us to have fun. That's a huge step." said Hongjoong, lightly punching the prince in the shoulder. He was wearing a black mask, shaped in the form of a bird.
"Fuck off Hongjoong. You know my mom would kill me if I didn't."
"But hey, At least you almost sounded convincing! Anyway, let's have fun. Just forget who you are for a moment."
San seemed to be in his thoughts for a minute or so before finally agreeing to follow his friend. People's clothes were gorgeous, colourful, and chic. There were so many different masks it was crazy, almost impossible to recognize anyone.
"Look over there! Jongho is showing everyone his trick."
Well maybe for Hongjoong it was pretty easy to recognize everyone. The prince looked where he was told and saw Jongho breaking apples in half with his bare hands while singing opera. People were so amazed by his talent that they were throwing money at him.
"Thank you for coming. See you all tomorrow for another show!" He saluted them properly and rushed towards the two guys.
"Look like I did pretty good. Damn, I made $980! " Jongho was counting the money in his hands, his eyes sparkling with pure glee.
"Good job." said Seonghwa, coming from nowhere.
"Thanks, bub." he answered simply.
"Let's go greet some peeps, shall we?" said the prince with an arrogant tone.
The three musketeers followed after him, giggling. They clearly knew that all San wanted was to humiliate some citizens because after all, it was a fun hobby.
WOOYOUNG
The stress was at a high level in Wooyoung's blood. And he wasn't even at the palace yet.
"Woo-Woo, you look stunning! Don't worry, nobody will even recognize you, and did you hear that the queen is letting people sleep in the quest rooms? We'll actually have a decent sized bedroom for once." Yeosang said quietly, following closely behind Wooyoung.
Yes, they were planning on staying the 3 nights in the palace, after all, it was free. Who would refuse that? It would be dumb to refuse. Free food, free beds, free everything! It was the opportunity of a life time!
"I know... I'm fine don't worry! We'll have fun. Let's go in." Wooyoung replied, holding Yunho's hand along with Yeonsang's one, entering the big castle.
