Right as Foster and I were about to kiss, someone interrupted. I felt like yelling "Oh, come on!" but that'd probably be considered rude to tell your crush's dad. Depending on the look on his face, he was probably gonna do some yelling himself.
Instead, he whined, "Grooooss. What did I say about kissing in front of me?"
I smirked, "Pretty sure it was not to do it?" Then I grabbed Foster's waist and pulled her in for a long kiss. When I finally let her go, she looked flustered but she whispered, "Do you have a death wish?"
"You know you loved it," I whispered back.
"So did you," she replied pointedly. Neither of us denied it. If we did, we'd be lying.
"Ughhh, go do that somewhere else," Grady groaned, then realized his slip-up, "Actually, don't do it at all! It's a win-win!"
Sophie rolled her eyes, then turned to me, "Come on, Keefe. I'm pretty sure you mentioned something about a date?"
"Oh, yeahhh. Let's go!" I added, "After you put on this blindfold."
She looked at me skeptically. "You better not try anything, bub."
"What's a bub?" I asked, confused, "Never mind. Just put it on pleaaaaase? Don't you trust me?"
The final question stopped her protests, and she obediantly put on the blindfold.
"I want her back by 8," Grady warned. Sophie was about to protest when Edaline chimed in out of nowhere.
"You mean midnight, honey!" she told her husband sweetly, but there was something in her voice that made it clear it was in Grady's best interest not to argue.
"Yes, dear," he gulped, then turned on his heel towards me, "Don't do anything you wouldn't see in a G rated movie."
He then walked in the house abruptly and closed the door.
I laughed nervously, "Ahahah. I have no idea what he means."
She seemed to roll her eyes, but noticed I couldn't see it. She just gave me a shove to show me she didn't buy it.
"Can we go already?" she asked, mock irritated.
"Feisty, much? Alright then. Let's go," I teased.
I led her into a carriage (don't ask how I afforded it) and told the driver to take us to [adress retracted due to surprise revealing], giving him a tip.
When we were there, I had an idea. I led her out of the carriage and into the area I planned for us to...yeah, as if I'm gonna spill that easily. I then let go of her hand. I hear her whisper, in panic, "Keefe? Hello? Where are you?"
Oh, boy, this is gonna be good.
