I wasn't nervous until this point.
Why did he let go?
What was happening?
Did something bad happen to Keefe?
All I could see was dark, and as far as I could tell, I was alone. Until I wasn't. Out of nowhere, arms wrapped around my waist and a deep, gravelly said, "Hello, Sophie."
I screamed. I'm not really sure what happened after that, because I blacked out. The next thing I knew, everything turned dark.
