Watching Jenna walk down the isle, is killing me right now but I have no power to stop all this charade. I so badly want to jump on her and reap that gorgeous vail from her face but I can't.

She doesn't deserve it. She doesn't deserve all this.

I really wish my dad would see her for who she is but you know, as trey say : love us blind... and stupid.

I turn  to my right and there sits Charlie. She has her head phones on, watching re-runs of Friends on her phone.

Sometimes I wish I was more like Charlie. You know... strong, ignorant, 'I don't care vibe and aura'. I wish I had them all, but I don't. I think if I was Charlie, I would have handled all this in a better way.

"If anyone here objects to these two getting married, kindly raise your hand."

Should I ?

But if I do... what good will it serve me ?

I want my dad to be happy, and if it's with Jenna, so be it.

I sit on the corner sipping my wine while watching the guests interact. There's slow fancy music playing and the waiters are servering cake, expensive cheese and wine to the adults while the  kids get cake and juice.

My dad and step mum, (internal gag), are busy talking to some Quin Tech investors and all I can think is,

...my dad doesn't remember what day today is.

My grandma is talking to Jenna's parents while Jenna's siblings, who FYI, I didn't know she had, are interacting with guests from my dad's side.

I turn to see Charlie fake laughing to a guy ; Typical Charlie. I roll my eyes and keep staring.

I don't think Charlie has a type. She always goes for anyone, but mostly the bad boys but do you know what I think... I think, she fall in love with a good boy.

Absurd right ?

Yeah. I have a gut feeling.

As I'm busy watching Charlie and the guy, I see Charlie kick the guy where the sun doesn't shine.

"Charlie !" I place my now empty wine glass on a silver tray next to me and run to where my best friend just assaulted an innocent guy, and just like I said ;

...typical Charlie.

My grandma and I stand at the entrance of the house waving the guests goodbye. It has been half an hour since my dad and Jenna left for their honey moon. I tried talking to my dad but all he did was kiss my forehead and wish me good luck.

Good luck for what exactly ?!

I asked him what day it us today and all he did was tell me the damn date. I repeated the date and it didn't ring a bell inside him, trust me when I say this ;
