Takahara ran in full speed towards the can and just as expected, Tanaka-sensei appeared but not just one of him; there were three. When Takahara was a few inches away from Tanaka-sensei, Takahara jumped up with all his might and landed behind Tanaka-sensei before going full speed towards the can.
Takahara was good with speed but being swift was not good enough. Tanaka-sensei caught him by the leg and flung him into the air. Before Tanaka-sensei could land a few kicks on Takahara, I made a few hand signs. "Crystal technique: Raining blades." Tanaka-sensei got distracted by the massive amount of crystal kunais and reflected them all. Aki took the chance to retrieve Takahara in mid air before the three of us went to hide again.
"Oh my god! I thought I was gonna have to throw up my breakfast if he kicks me." Takahara sighed with relief.
"You did great, Takahara." I patted his back. "Now, we know that we can't beat Tanaka-sensei with just speed alone."
"Should we move on to the next one?" Aki asked. Takahara and I nodded.
Aki walked cautiously towards the can and a rain of kunais and shurikens came flying towards Aki. Takahara's and my clone backed her up, reflecting almost all of them away from Aki before disappearing. Then, sand gathered from the ground and Tanaka-sensei appeared. Aki quickly made a few hand signs and released the genjutsu she had set up before hand.
Tanaka-sensei was now trapped in Aki's genjutsu. Takahara and I went to join her. Catching us by surprise, another rain of kunais and shurikens came flying at us again and when we tried to reflect them but they went straight through our kunais and struck us.
Aki and Takahara gasped in pain before collapsing onto the floor. I kneeled down and covered the flesh wound on my waist with my hand. I looked at Aki and Takahara before raising my head to look for Tanaka-sensei.
He's gone!
I felt my intuition telling me that he was behind me and I quickly turned with my leg spread out, causing Tanaka-sensei to fall. But, there was another Tanaka-sensei and he struck me with a kunai. Two Tanaka-sensei and I fought hand-to-hand combat. I used whatever I'd learned from my training and fought them both with immense speed.
I slipped past one of the Tanaka-sensei when he came charging towards me and I managed to caught a whiff of Aki's perfume. I looked back at both Tanaka-sensei and studied them. They were both using different stance and fighting styles. One even smelled like Aki! My eyes widened. We were trapped in Tanaka- sensei's genjutsu. Aki's genjutsu got reflected.
I jumped back, giving me and the two Tanaka-sensei some distance between us. I brought my hands together, "Kai!"
The genjutsu dispersed and there they were, Aki and Takahara. I quickly ran towards them, dodging their attacks before pushing a little of my chakra into their body. Aki and Takahara blinked a few times before snapping out of it. "What happened?" Aki gasped. "Tanaka-sensei was just there." Takahara pointed at my direction. "We were trapped in Tanaka-sensei's genjutsu and I was Tanaka-sensei in your eyes." I explained to them.
"I'm impressed, Kivi." Tanaka-sensei appeared before us and all three of us took our stance, kunai in hand. "You have abilities that only chunins possess. Your father must have trained you hard." Tanaka sensei complimented but I didn't waver. "Takahara, stick to the plan. You're going to kick the can." I whispered to him. "Aki, protect him. I'll back you two up."
Aki shook her head. "No, Kivi! We're going to take down Tanaka-sensei and kick the can together." Takahara agreed with Aki. "We're a team, Kivi. Maybe your father didn't taught you that." Remembering my father's fierce training and words, I agreed with Takahara. "He didn't teach me. Let's do this together then!"
Aki, Takahara and I fought with Tanaka-sensei for quite awhile. We were all getting exhausted. Tanaka-sensei was really a strong ninja. He has the speed, the power and the tactics. I snapped out of it when Takahara and Aki got kicked in the stomach by Tanaka-sensei's quick speed.
I quickly jumped back and checked on Aki and Takahara. "You guys okay?" I panted. Aki and Takahara don't look very well, I wasn't even sure if we could retreat. I'm used to heavy training so I could last a little longer than the both of them. "We're fine." Takahara coughed and panted heavily. Aki just laid there, panting and gasping. "I'm running out of chakra." Aki winced.
"What's wrong? Is that all?" Tanaka sensei taunted. I stood up and made a few quick hand signs before bringing my palm towards Aki and Takahara. "Crystal technique: Crystal cage." A crystal dome covered Aki and Takahara. They won't be able to move in their state for awhile, I might as well distract Tanaka-sensei and let them rest. "Aki! Takahara! Approach the can if you two can move. I'll buy you two time to rest."
"Sorry, Kivi." Aki panted.
"We're depending on you. We'll do our best here." Takahara said.
I turned to look at Tanaka-sensei. "Crystal summoning: Crystal dragon!"
