Shuichis' POV

I woke up to a white room. I predicted that it was a hospital room. Yeah, it turns out that I was right. A stereotypical looking nurse walked into the room, and asked me a few questions. They were all pretty basic. Only one caught me off guard. "Do you hold any grudges against anyone you participated in the killing game with?" I blink twice before comprehending the question. I looked away in shame. "I used to, but now I'm questioning it. Before you ask who is was, it was Kokichi Ouma."

She nodded, and noted something on her clip board. "Please follow me." She stated plainly. Plain. That word sent shivers down my spine. It made me remember the sick torture that our friends were forced through. The person who sent us through that torture.

Suddenly, questions started shooting through my head. Where was everyone? Where were the survivors? How was I here? Before I could voice any of my thoughts, we had reached our destination. The nurse left without a word. I look around, and realized that it was a lounge. Then, I looked over to the couches..and..everyone was there. The victims, the blackeneds, the survivors, even the mastermind!

I knew something was wrong, though. They all noticed me, and walked over to say hello. When Kiibo was greeting me, I asked him.

"What happened to Kokichi? Why isn't he here? How are we all here?"

Kiibo looked at me, and dragged me to the corner. "We are all here because the killing game was a simulation." He took a shaky sigh, before saying:

"Kokichi Ouma is deceased. Both inside and out of the killing game. He had the second worst death in Danganronpas' history, making it impossible for him to make it out alive of the simulation.."

My eyes widened. Tears started spilling out of my eyes. Thankfully, nobody but Kiibo was paying attention to me. "H-hey..what's wrong..? I know it hurts to have Ouma dead, but nobody reacted like this! Please tell me why you're crying!" He whispered.

I wiped the tears that were spilling down my cheeks. I felt too guilty. Now, he was dead..and.. "I never got to say sorry..."

Kiibos' POV

"I never got to say sorry..."

My brain kind of stopped comprehending everything at that point. Sorry? For what?(A/n-Kiibo doesn't remember Saiharas' last words to Kokichi)

"I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Sorry for what?" He sniffled. "My last words to him. they were so cold and separating.."

I stood, still confused as ever. Then, it clicked. "W-weren't your last words to him.." He nodded, as if noticing that I finally understood. I nodded solemnly. "I'm sorry, Shuichi. Truth be told, I also feel quite guilty for not telling Kokichi the truth."

He looked me in the eye, as if curious to know what I had kept from Kokichi. I sighed. Kokichi wasn't here to hear it anyways. "I liked Kokichi. Romantically. I've had those feelings ever since I met him, and now he's gone. I've only ever liked Professor Idabashi, and even that was platonic. My only romantic interest is dead, and he never even got a single hint.." I sighed.

"Hey, Kiibo?" Shuichi asked. I made a small noise, to let him know that I was paying attention. "Are you human now? You look more..human like..." I knew he was trying to direct the conversation topic off of Kokichi, and I understood. I played along. "Why, yes! They didn't know what talent to give me, and I've always had an interest in robots, so they made me one! Now, I am fully human!"

Shuichi nodded, and we ended the conversation there. I wondered what I'd do. Kokichi was one of the only things that really kept me mentally alive. After he died ingame, I kind of just...snapped. Nobody really noticed, though. Now that he was truly dead, I wondered who I'd truly love one day.
