They did it. The new group of teenage heroes just defeated the Injustice Society of America. She should be happy. That's what Molly kept telling herself as she sat on the bleachers and stared out at the football field. However, she didn't really feel anything. She couldn't explain it, but she definitely didn't feel like celebrating. Maybe because the name Richard Swift kept running through her head. Who was he? What did he have to do with her mother and the Injustice Society?

Molly looked up slightly and saw Rick and Courtney standing by the railing of the fence lining the field. Yolanda was sitting a few bleachers away from her in her own world. Beth sat a little bit to the left of her, staring down at her shatter goggles heartbroken. When Icicle found Beth and Barbara in the American Dream, he shattered Dr. Mid-Nite's goggles, which destroyed Chuck. Molly couldn't help, but feel sorry for Beth, who had just lost her best friend.

"Hey," Molly and Beth both heard a gentle voice say. As Molly just kept her eyes on the field, Beth looked up at Courtney and Rick, who had came over to them. Courtney assured her, "We'll fix the goggles, Beth. Somehow, we'll fix them."

Beth paused before replying sadly, "It's not them, Courtney. It's him... it's Chuck."

Then, Molly was surprised when she heard Rick reply back in the gentlest tone she had ever heard him use, "Well, then we'll get him up and running, Beth. Okay?"

Out of the corner of her eye, Molly saw that Rick had a glint of a smile on his face. Like he was actually happy for once in his life. That was the only light that Molly saw in that moment. She couldn't explain it, but she was happy that he was happy.

Suddenly, Rick asked, "Right, guys?"

That made both Molly and Yolanda actually look up at them, breaking them from their thoughts. Molly wasn't sure what was wrong with Yolanda, but she seemed very distracted. Maybe it was still Henry's death, which Molly couldn't blame her for.

"Yeah, sure," Yolanda assured Beth with a light smile.

Molly just nodded in agreement and gave Beth a small smile. As Beth smiled at all of them gratefully, Molly hesitated before standing up from the bleachers. She walked down the stairs of the bleachers and away from the four of them. She could feel the four of them just staring at her confused, but it didn't bother her. As she walked over to stand at the railing, she heard footsteps walk up behind her.

"Are you okay?" She heard Rick's voice ask from behind her.

Without even thinking about it, Molly turned around and looked at him. He had his hands in his pockets, and despite all of the cuts and bruises on his face, he seemed less tense than usual. He was more relaxed, which was something she wasn't used to seeing through him.

"Yeah," She replied quietly while merely shrugging her shoulders and looking down at the ground. There was a pause before she looked back up and asked him, "Did you... did you find what you were looking for?"

He hesitated before a small smile curled on his lips and replying, "Yeah. Did you?"

Molly just stared at him for a moment before slightly shaking her head, "No."

She noticed that his smile faltered a little bit. Before he could even reply, the two of them heard Courtney call out for them. Rick just turned back towards Molly, and the two of them stared at each other before he motioned his head towards their friends. She nodded her head, and the two of them made their way back to the group.

The five of them made their way to the parking lot where Pat, Barbara, and Mike were watching Justin pack up his green truck. Where he was going, Molly didn't know. She knew she would miss him though.
