By the time Beth and Jennie had returned from the school, Cindy Burman had already made everyone uncomfortable. No surprise there. Cindy was very persistent on helping them defeat Eclipso. Even though nobody trusted her or wanted her there, they needed all the help they could get. Cindy also promised to leave Blue Valley once Eclipso was gone so that was a huge plus.

Molly couldn't help, but smile lightly as she watched Beth and Dr. McNider from the other room. Beth was super excited to meet him, especially since he was already so fond in her. Molly knew that Beth had her doubts about her place on the team, but Dr. McNider believing in her really boosted her self-esteem. Beth deserved to feel important and wanted because she was such a huge help to the JSA.

As Molly crossed her arms around her, her thoughts kept drifting back to the theater. She tried to get some rest after last night, but she couldn't. All she kept thinking about was The Shade vanishing right in front of her. She didn't understand why she found herself becoming upset about it. She was so angry at him for many reasons, but part of her felt guilty about it. As if her time with him was too short and she ruined it.

Molly let out a small sigh as she walked into the kitchen of the Duganmore house. Courtney and Pat were leaning against the counter staring into the dining room and watching Cindy eat the sandwich Barbara made her. Molly walked over and placed herself next to Courtney, who just looked over at her and sent her a light smile, "You okay?"

Molly nodded her head and replied, "For now, yeah."

The two girls turned their heads back towards Cindy. Courtney finally spoke, "I hate to admit it, but Cindy's right. In Eclipso's case, evil is relative. We need her. We need everyone if Beth and Dr. Mid-Nite are close to finding Eclipso."

As Barbara walked into the kitchen, Pat and Molly both nodded in agreement with Courtney. The four of them stood in silence as they stared at Cindy, who sensed they were all staring at her. As she gestured towards her food, she looked at Barbara and said, "This is-this is so delicious, Ms. Whitmore."

Barbara just chuckled nervously at her while sending her a small smile. The four of them turned away from Cindy as Courtney began to say, "I'm going to try and convince Yolanda to help us."

"I'm going to see what I can do about getting Rick released from jail and seeing if he can fix the hourglass," Pat replied before turning to Molly and asking, "You still have the hourglass, right?"

"Yes, it's in my bag," Molly confirmed with the nod of her head.

"And what about Mike?" Barbara asked them, "Where's Mike?"

Molly heard Pat let out a small sigh before answering quietly, "He's chasing the lightning."

The four of them went over the plan one more time before going their separate ways. As Pat started to walk out of the room, Molly quickly ran over to him and grabbed his shirt sleeve. Pat turned around and looked down at her.

"Everything okay?" He asked her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just coming with you," She replied.

"Coming with me?" He repeated with his eyes widening.

Molly nodded her head as she grabbed her jacket off the dining room chair. As she slipped it on, she said to Pat, "I said I would help Rick. I told him that I would get him out of jail. That hasn't changed. You can try to stop me, but... to be honest, I probably wouldn't listen to you. So you might as well just suck it up and let me come."

Pat let out a small sigh, trying his best to hide his annoyance with Molly's bluntness. However, he looked down at her and said, "I know you want to help, and I'm not going to try to stop you. You can come if you want. But I'm not heading to the police station."
