Alright guys, these next few chapters are pretty emotional. Be prepared. Okay bye.

After sitting with Grundy and eating the apples, Rick finally took Molly back to the car. She couldn't help, but smile to herself. This went a lot better than she was expecting. She would be lying if she said her perspective of Solomon Grundy hadn't change. And Rick continued to prove what a good person he is.

"Are you okay?" Rick asked once they got back to the road.

"Yeah," Molly nodded while lightly smiling up at him. She hesitated before saying, "Thanks for telling me the truth. And bringing me along."

Rick just smiled lightly at her before replying, "I'm glad I did."

The two of them got back into the Mustang so Rick could take her back home. When he turned the Mustang on, the Blue Valley radio station immediately came on. Rick turned up the volume, which Rick found amusing.

"I didn't realize you were into the Blue Valley Radio Channel," Molly couldn't help, but smile.

Rick smiled back and replied, "Believe it or not, they actually talk about some pretty interesting things."

"Happy 4th of July, Blue Valley! Now, be careful with your celebrations tonight because we've had reports of another bear sighting earlier today," The radio host's voice caused Molly to sit up in her seat so she could pay more attention to what he was about to say, "This time, a little closer to town. Now, if you ask me, I agree with our callers. We can't take any chances, folks. You know, it's one thing to break into the Taco Whiz and Waffle World. But hey, I've got kids who play in those woods. So a big thanks to the Blue Valley Hunters Association who have volunteered to get out there and kill the bear. They've requested everyone who's willing to be able to join in on the hunt. I don't know about you folks, but I'm going to grab my shotgun and get me a bear."

Molly's eyes widened when three trucks drove past them and parked a few yards ahead of them. As a variety of hunters began to jump out, Rick was already turning off the car and getting out as fast as he could. Molly was quick to follow him out of the car, knowing exactly what he was thinking.

"You don't think it was Grundy, do you?" She asked him, thinking back to the moment they just had with them.

"No, but can you imagine what those hunters will do if they see Grundy running through the woods?" Rick asked her while running his hand quickly through his hair. Molly looked at Rick with her lips parted, unsure what to say or do. Then, Rick told her, "I have to help him."

"Okay, let's go!" Molly immediately agreed and began to head back into the woods.

However, she was pulled back when Rick grabbed her arm and drug her back over to the Mustang. Molly looked up at him confused before he said, "Just stay here, okay?"

Molly looked at him incredulously and exclaimed, "You cannot be serious right now!"

"Look, I'm going to call Pat and have him come down here to help. Just... just wait here until he arrives, but I'm going to go get a head start," Rick instructed her, but Molly, being the stubborn person she is, wasn't going to let that slide.

"Rick, you can't go out there alone! Especially with all of those hunters out there! It's dangerous!" Molly argued with him.

"Exactly, which is why you need to stay here!" Rick exclaimed back quickly, causing her to look up at him surprised.

When she was finally able to regain herself, Molly crossed her arms and reminded him, "Rick, I can take care of myself."

Rick stared down at her before letting out a small sigh, "I know, but-"
