...
'So how are your new friends?'
Marcel chuckled at her question, 'Don't tell me. The grand poopa and his evil henchman sent you over here to question me? Make sure that I'm not going to the dark side?'
She shook her head, 'Not at all.' They were still sitting on his sofa, more then a few drinks in, 'Just a simple genuine question.. from a simple genuine friend.'
He looked amused, 'Elijah was right about one thing.'
'And what's that?'
'They're sociopaths.'
Astrid chuckled, 'Aya and I used to get on quite well. Mohinder mentored her sure but we used to spar all the time back in the day.'
'I thought I recognised some moves!' He joked and she slapped his arm, 'Oh ha ha. Thanks for killing him by the way, he was a bore.'
Astrid's phone rung and she dug it out of her pocket, an exasperated sigh left her lips when she saw who it was.
Nik.
'Hello darling.' She smiled sarcastically and he sounded furious, 'What the bloody hell did you do?'
'Well, you told me no. And in a shocking turn of events, I ignored you.' Astrid grinned at Marcel and he burst out laughing. 'Is he listening right now?' He growled and she laughed, 'Honey, relax. I'm okay. We're just talking.'
'Come home.' He stated plainly and when she said no, he chuckled bitterly, 'I figured you might say that.'
Astrid noticed Marcel's look first as he turned toward the door with a risen eyebrow. She turned slowly and there he was. 'Today just gets better.' She facedpalmed and Nik had his arms crossed. A black coat graced his frame with a grey t-shirt as she smiled at him through gritted teeth, 'Nik! Darling!'
'Astrid. This is serious. Come on we're leaving.'
She frowned when she heard a hint of desperation in his voice that Marcel couldn't hear. 'Why can't she stay here?' He asked and Nik looked like he was about to go for him so Astrid vamped between them. 'Nik.' She whispered and placed her hands on his chest, 'Whats going on?'
'Please.'
Morocco.
'A warning, sir-- if you're looking for trouble, you might want to think twice.' Rebekah was still in her witch body. Freya had just had a drink with her sister through the means of astral projection and got confronted by a strange man the second she stood up.
Aya snuck up behind her and slit her throat, 'That's the problem with a witch's body-- you can't put up much of a fight when the real monsters come out.'
Rebekah turned around with her hand up to her neck that was now bleeding profusely before falling to the floor.
Mikaelson Compound.
Luckily Marcel was an understanding man. Astrid came back into the Compound to see Aurora standing on the balcony, 'What the hell?'
'Come with me.' Elijah requested his sister in law's presence as Klaus walked off and Astrid was growing more and more annoyed with this situation. She stayed with her eyes stuck on her husband as he approached Aurora and the redhead smirked at the hybrid. 'Astrid.' Elijah came in front of her vision and she glared at the pair until he clicked his fingers and she finally looked at him.
'What?'
'Come with me.' He smiled, amused at her jealousy and she rolled her eyes before following him away. They found Freya in the dining room and she commented instantly, 'You seem more annoyed than usual.'
