'Oh... Poor, sweet Lucien.' Aurora chuckled, 'After all these years he still remains such a dedicated suitor. Such a shame I'll never see him as more than a means to an end. But if he wants to save my brother in a bid to win my heart, why shouldn't I let him? Wouldn't be the first of his gifts I've accepted.'

Aurora looked at her most sadistic in that moment, 'After all... He gave me this.' She gestured to the vial of serum on the counter, 'The means to remake myself. So that I might become a creature of such pure and unbridled power that I can kill even you.'

'Uh huh.' Astrid hummed sarcastically, 'That's real cute.. but as of right now..' She threw Aurora against the wall, 'You're still a normal vampire.' Vamping over, she picked the redhead up by her throat, 'Albeit one of little consequence.'

The Ancestors were growing subsequently more and more annoying by the day.

Astrid ended up back next to Nik in an instant, having been thrown over the counter. 'Astrid.. darling I'll tell you what, you might as well be my sire. Rebekah has been nowhere to be seen for months! It seems I have become your better.' She giggled but Astrid used the opportunity well, sending a perfectly timed text to a dear witch friend of hers until she dropped her phone, feeling the Ancestors at work once more before her hands were magically restricted behind her.

'Sneaky sneaky.' Aurora laughed as she sat on the sofa in front of them with the vial in her hand. 'Oh to the trigger happy hybrids eh?' Downing the vial, she dramatically gulped as if to make a point, 'Well would you look at that? Now Astrid I can finally get the revenge I oh so desperately desire.'

'It will be short lived.' Klaus grumbled.

'Sorry what was that?' Aurora cupped her ear and Nik screwed his face up, 'Even if you do, the rest of the family will take you down just for looking at her incorrectly.'

'Ah yes I forgot! You truly are the Queen of the Mikaelson brothers aren't you?.. Where you go they follow with their tails wagging.' She chuckled before seemingly getting interrupted.

'I'm really beginning to hate vampires.'

Willow Griffith stood in the doorway, a syringe in hand full of liquid that Aurora seemed to recognise as a flash of fear crossed her eyes before she returned to a patronising tone, 'And who might you be?'

'I'm here on behalf of the Regent.' Willow eyed the surroundings and saw the trouble Klaus and Astrid were in, stepping forward as her fist tightened around the object. 'Oh yes!' Aurora stood up, 'You're his sister!' She exclaimed happily like a child getting something right.

'Shut up already.' Willow spat before raising her free hand and casting an aneurysm spell like Aurora had never felt, 'You know what's funny.. My brother always warned me about the dark magic my family used.. and that I shouldn't follow my parents.' She flicked her hand quickly and the vampire's leg broke.

'Yet I'm finding it quite fun.'

Once the witch got close enough, she stabbed the syringe into Aurora's heart and she gasped before falling to the floor. Nik looked panicked, 'She drunk the serum!' He exclaimed in a harsh tone but Astrid only smirked, 'How the bloody hell did you get your hands on that?'

'Tristan didn't keep his sister's prescriptions under lock and key unfortunately.'

'Nik, she's not dead. She's asleep.' The ancestors had let go of Astrid as the hybrid stood up and smirked at Willow, 'What would I do without you eh?'

'Shut up.' Willow looked at her deadpan before turning to walk away. 'Hang on!' Astrid cursed as she pulled the wood away from Nik's chains and unravelled them, Nik fell forward slightly and Astrid pulled him up.

'Come on, Plonker.'
