It was as if a penny dropped in Astrid's mind. Her best friend was at the bottom of the ocean. 'Aurora.' She gulped, 'You're lying.'

'You're bluffing.' Klaus was processing as well and Aurora simply shook her head with a grin. 'Tell me you're bluffing!' Nik grew infuriated and slammed his hands on the table. 'Oh, you should all be thanking me. Rebekah's never been safer! She has plenty of company down there. There's all the little crabs, and octopus, and...'

Klaus stood up and Tristan grabbed Freya and put a butter knife up to her neck, 'Harm my sister, and I'll be forced to return the favour.'

Astrid vamped over to Tristan and threw him a across the room, vamping again to twist his arm behind his back and press against the wall, 'Return the favour and any deal between us becomes null and void.'

He chuckled dryly, 'That's why you haven't accepted the deal yet. So you've got leverage over me for as long as possible.' She drifted one of her hands across the space in front of them with sarcastic wide eyes, 'I can see Sebastian drifting away as we speak.'

'Oh, this all escalated very quickly...' Lucien was the only one left at the table, he made a snarky comment and both Klaus and Astrid growled at him. 'Shut up, Lucien, or I'll tear your tongue from your head.' Klaus roared and he hit back with, 'Be careful with your threats, Nik. Anything should happen to me, I won't be able to protect your precious Cami.'

'Okay, that is the second time I've heard her name! Just who is this Cami?' Aurora was clearly jealous and Astrid shook it off, 'Don't bother, Aurora! She's no one we need to worry about.' The hybrid looked at Lucien, 'Just some vile words from Lucien to wind us both up, trust me.'

'How can I trust you when you've got my brother pinned against a wall?' Aurora called out and Astrid grew infuriated, 'Did you seriously just-'

'Don't waste your breath, sister!' Freya snarled and snapped Aurora's neck telekinetically.

'Freya!' Nik scorned his sister and Astrid shot him a glare. 'Niklaus... Which of these two vulgar parasites would you first like to torture?' Elijah smiled and he replied, 'Well, it's half a dozen of one and six of the other, isn't it? Why don't you take the stable boy? Tristan and I are long overdue for a good catch-up.'

'Do you mind if I join you, love?' Astrid asked and Klaus smiled devilishly.

'Torture someone without my darling Persephone? Never!'

The Lyceé.

'What do you want?' Davina came onto the bottom floor to see Vincent working some tarot cards. 'Marcel told me what was going on.' He sounded deadened, he didn't want to do this but he had too.It was what he thought was right.

His sister said something different.

'Mmm. And you decided to care? This is witch business, Vincent. You don't even practice anymore. And, as for The Strix? If they come after me, I'll deal with it. I'm not afraid.'

'Maybe you should be.'

'You trying to scare me?'

'No, Davina' he shook his head, pulling a card that was labelled "Death" and showing it to her, 'I'm trying to warn you. But you don't like it when people disagree with you. From what I hear, you get pretty mad.'

'What makes me mad is getting lectured from the guy who walked away from being a witch.'

'Well, then I best be careful, or else I'm gonna end up like all the people you got mad at last time, right?' Vince sounded like a disappointed father and Davina scowled, confused as to why he was suddenly on her case, 'Kara Nguyen attacked me.'
