It seemed like any normal day for the prince of the kingdom, waking up, getting ready for the day, and heading to breakfast. The Male had pushed his dark colored hair out of his face while he walked towards the dining room. Once inside he saw his parents, the queen who was silently eating and the king still busy with work not even touching a thing on his plate. The prince sat down and smiled at his parents "Good mornings mother, good morning father." He picked up his utensils and started to eat "How was the meeting with Jacob's father?"
The queen smiled and spoke after putting down her napkin "It went well although he's been quite sick for a while. Thankfully Jacob is safe, and will be staying here for a while."
Chanhee smiled knowing his friend since childhood would be staying over, he quickly ate a piece of bread before speaking "So when will he be coming, and for how long is his stay?"
His mother looked over to her husband and then back at her son "I believe, he'll be here in an hour or so and he'll stay until his father is well, he said he'll send their guards to get him once that happens." She then began to eat again.
"In that case, may I take Kevin the jester with me to meet Jacob." The royal asked with a glint in his eyes. He thought to himself as he waited for his mother's response to the question"Maybe I can go and explore the kingdom again, I mean it's been a while since I've been out."
The king looked up from his work and smiled "Chanhee go ahead and meet up with Jacob, bring the jester with you and be careful." His father then went back to work creating a stressful atmosphere in the room.
Chanhee nodded before standing up leaving after hugging his mom goodbye, after leaving the dinning room he ran through the palace to where Kevin the Jester stayed. Once opening the door he saw the somewhat older male fixing his bed, dressed in everyday clothes "Good Morning Kevin, you're not busy today right?"
The older male looked to the younger and nodded "Yea I'm free, I was actually going to go into town. Why do you ask?" He said sitting on his bed.
The royal showed a bracelet that the jester made for the both of them "Today I can head out and hangout. I also have to bring Prince Jacob to the palace."
"Prince Jacob.." The male repeated with a happy smile then shook his head "Oh well I guess you need me to come and take you both around, well fine I'll spend my day off with you and Prince Jacob."
Chanhee nodded with a somewhat satisfied look, he can tell Kevin was happy seeing Jacob, and knew that Jacob would rather hangout with the jester more than him. He didn't mind tho, he liked seeing the two happy and knew they got along well "Alright now go wait outside, I'll ask Eric for a horse."
The jester nodded and left the room going to the entrance. Chanhee left and closed the door, He went to the stables outside and saw who he need to talk with and waved them over "Eric! Come over here!" He kept waving until the male and his horse was in front of him.
Eric got off the house and bowed "Hey Chanhee didn't expect you for horse ridding lessons today, what's up?" He stoked the mane of the horse as he waited for a response.
"I need a horse and carriage for me and Kevin. We are going to pick up Jacob and take him back here." He explained as he motioned to the stables.
Eric nodded and spoke with informality like he always did "Well I'll just join you guys, it's been a while since we got to leave the palace together, I also miss my best buddy." He wrapped his arm around the royal's shoulders.
The prince laughed at his best friend, he had two actually Eric was just one of them "Alright Eric, now let's go before Kevin leaves without us." He walked into where they keep the carriages and pick one he knew the group would like.
