A Prince's Knight

Chapter 3

The two princes were walking around the garden of Chanhee's castle, the two kept distance from each other while the escort and knight watched from the second floor of the castle. They saw the two princes talking and Hyunjun can tell he was steaming and tried to calm down, he hasn't always been so mad when his prince talks with others but ever since they got the news about these dates he couldn't help but be upset. The male moved his glasses up and noticed the knight took off his helmet and had been watching the princes with a sad smile.
Hyunjun looked back to the two in the garden "How come you're looking at them with a long face?" He spoke with a friendly tone but it still came out cold.

The knight looked at his helmet and then back to the prince he was to protect "It's just I watched prince Chanhee from afar without talking to him before, it just feels odd to watch him like this now. What about you? You've been glaring daggers as you watched your prince." 

The escort thought to himself "I don't know anymore.. Prince Hyunjae has just been there while I teach him. I've been close to him since I was young as well. But seeing him now like this make me mad.." He pouted at the thought of Hyunjae with another but let it go knowing if the royal was happy he can live with it.

The knight looked over to Hyunjun who was in thought and finally put the puzzle together and laughed "Heo Hyunjun right? Well I might have your answer."

With those words Hyunjun turned to Changmin "Please tell me, I've been like this since I heard about these dates." He looked relieved that someone had the answer to how he felt to his prince.

Changmin turned to the garden and pointed at Hyunjae "Well simple, you're jealous not to prince Hyunjae but to prince Chanhee. You might not believe me but from the sounds of it you like the prince a lot, but you're jealous he might end up with someone else and forget about you." He then pointed to Chanhee "If you look at prince Chanhee right now you might be angry, sad, or both." He then put his hand down and continued to watch waiting for the escort to respond.

Hyunjun was conflicted to even look back at the two but wanted to see if the knight was right, so the male looked back at the garden and went straight to find the princes. The two were happily talking and the escort felt his heart drop, he was jealous, he really didn't wanna lose the male. He then saw the two royals look over to the escort and knight from the 2nd floor.
It hurt him more, he just turned away and mumbled to the knight "I'll be leaving, tell prince Hyunjae I will be out for the rest of the day." Then the male ran down the hall towards the 1st floor so he can leave the castle. He was about to reach the exit but was stopped when a pair of arms wrapped around him.

The two princes had been walking around the castle's garden keeping a good distance but they weren't talking to each other as what the two from the 2nd floor had thought. Instead Hyunjae had been mumbling to himself about ideas why his escort was so moody today. Chanhee had enough and sighed loudly and slouched "If this is supposed to be a date shouldn't you be talking to me instead of mumbling about another guy." He acted annoyed when in reality the royal didn't mind. 

Hyunjae nervously laughed "Sorry about that it's just I'm worried about viscount Heo, he's never been this upset towards anything.." 

Chanhee stained his posture and looked at the older male in front of him "Can I be real with you, first you're not my type of guy so take this as an early rejection. Second haven't you noticed him staring me down as though he want me to drop dead?" He plainly spoke.

The male thought to himself and sighed "I'm glad in a way for your rejection, I didn't want to be in a relationship anyways. But why would he stare you down? He should have told me if he didn't want to come." He mumbled the last part sadly, he knew even if Hyunjun rejected going he would have begged the viscount to come nonetheless.
