"Chanhee is lucky to have you, he's in your heart while I watch from afar. I'm jealous..." Sunwoo replayed the sentence over and over again in his head before looking at the older male "What do you mean jealous? Haknyeon why wou-"
Haknyeon cleared his throat "Jealous? Sunwoo are you okay, cuz i didn't say anything." He smiled but was on edge knowing the other could have figured everything out "Ah we should head back inside, that way you can start that date with Chanhee." He got up and started to walk off.
Sunwoo furrowed his brows and looked at the older with a suspicious eye, he knew there was a possibility of the older liking him and he didn't mind it. He actually had a different reason for his panic but decided to keep it a secrete. He seemed to change his mind about the date but stood up and followed the male.
After a while the royal and knight left the room. Both going down the hall taking the long way to the throne room. Chanhee was walking down the hall but turned to his knight "Chang I have something I just realized, I need to visit earl K-"
"He's not home today, I got word in advance knowing you'd try to us him as an escape." The knight lied and cut off the males sentence. He knew that it would only take a while until the prince decided to go on the date willingly, or so he thought.
The male crossed his arms and sarcastically laughed he knew all to well Changmin lied, why is what he didn't know. He turned back around a slowly walked to the throne room. He stopped again and hid behind a wall hearing somewhat familiar voices. He grabbed the other so they weren't spotted, covering the knight's mouth and listened.
The sound of shoes hitting the cold floor of the castle, a hand running through their hair and ruffling it. From the looks of it he had been outside, he sighed and leaned against the wall "You did it again Haknyeon, he'll finally have his wish and date prince Chanhee..." He opened up his suit pocket and took out a pocket watch, looking at the time.
Changmin looks over to Chanhee and decided it was a good time to leave, taking the males hand off his mouth he turned the prince around, slightly pushing him down towards the stairwell. Eventually he gave up and decided to pick the prince up bridal style.
The prince held on but glared at the knight "What's this for, I can walk you know." He looked away from him noticing a slight burning sensation on his face.
The knight rolled his eyes already knowing who the male in the hallway was talking about and wanted to keep it a secret from the prince "Nothing I just thought we would be late that's all." He continued once reaching the ground floor he walked slowly.
Back upstairs however Haknyeon was now sitting on the door his back against the wall, head looking up to the ceiling. He thought to his close friend and smiled, he could be jealous of the prince getting the attention of the younger earl but deep down he knew he should be happy for him. He closed his eyes an arm covering his face "You can get over it, he'll be happy and you'll be happy soon after you get ove-"
"Hiding feelings from your closet friend, I wonder why you seem distressed even if it's just your voice." A smile was in the knight face. He had came back up to check on the earl, although not close with him he wanted the male to know he could help "You're Earl Kim's friend correct? You really wanted to say something to this guy, I hope he can hear it soon."
The earl looked at Changmin after removing his arm and opening his eyes "Aren't you interesting, the knight of the prince, correct I am his friend. Although that guy won't know my feelings." He sadly smiled and looked back up to the dark ceiling looking at any small cracks and bumps.
Changmin smiled softly and sat in front of the earl "If you don't mind Earl Ju, I would like your advice on something." He placed a hand behind him helping him balance, he then made it look like he's thinking before speaking up again "What if I liked someone but my friend is already planning to ask out a person, what should I do?"
Haknyeon closed his eyes and thought allowed "Well I would sit them down somewhere they liked, tell them my feelings, say it's fine if they don't accept and they can continue how they like. I would also live with the consequences." Turning back to Changmin he sees the boy's face smirking "What, did I say something to amuse you?"
The knight rolled his eyes and nodded "Well you obviously know what to do, I might not know why you are hesitating but I know you're willing to try right?" He stood up and looked at the earl "You just need to try." Inside Changmin knew that the earl could do it but inside he doesn't know a feeling he had for someone, pushing the thought back he just held a soft expression to the somewhat younger male.
He nodded his head before slowly getting up, he dusted himself off and sighed "I guess it's a little to late huh, he's on his date already and I'm here with you.. Still thank you, I needed this talk for a while now." He turned to look at where he came and sighed.
"We can wait in the pantry, just wait and we'll both see what happens after it." He smiled before walking down the hall.
Meanwhile Chanhee and Sunwoo talked with each other while walking around the castle's courtyard laughing, Sunwoo thought back to Haknyeon's statement and actions while they talked. Chanhee stopped and smiled "It's really been a while since we talked like this, I'm still surprised it was you I was going on a date with." He went to face the other with a small smile "I was worried for nothing after all."
Sunwoo was surprised he wasn't hurt by the words but rolled his eyes to the older male "Alright then tell me, if we didn't know each other would you reject me?" He waits for an answer patiently but seems that his mind is drifting to another person, the person who had left him for this date.
