MISSY MORENO

Wildcard and I had gone to this really fancy restaurant for our date tonight when guess who showed up? No, no, not Alicia. It was Bethany and Ben and her extremely nice parents. Great. How could such great humans make such horrible babies? We tried to ignore them and just eat our food when their parents had to be nice at the wrong timing and totally screw up our date.

"Oh! It's Missy! And her... boyfriend?"

"Yeah..." Wildcard glanced at me, "Should we be worried?"

"No, she's not like Alicia. Alicia's just so smart she can hide the truth."

"I missed you! How was your mission?"

We shared a glance.

"Oh... right... sorry! We saw on the news... we're just... too excited to see you here!"

"Yeah... we're excited to eat food by ourselves too," I said, trying to give them a hint.

Nope. Not happening today. Thanks a lot, whoever watches over me.

"Us, too! How was your time at school?"

"Like you'd expect," I sighed.

"Well we can't forget your birthday this year! Bethany will be so excited to come!"

Wildcard gave me a look that said 'no way' and I returned it with a 'I'm not inviting that girl over' look.

"MOM! DAD!" Bethany whined, "TELL THIS WAITER THAT I WANT A BLUE HAWAII VIRGIN! HE SAYS THERE'S NO SUCH THING!"

"So..." Wildcard began to eat more of his food, "When are you gonna publish that song?"

"What?"

"You should make an album! Sing for the world! Act for the world! Model for the world--"

"Okay, you're being ridiculous," I stared at him.

"I'm being serious. You can do it, Missy. Publish the song you wrote for me and just watch. Everyone will wanna listen to it. It can be a hit!"

"You sure?"

"100%."

"If it doesn't... you owe me one grand."

"What?"

"Yes."

"Aw... fine!" Wildcard pouted and began to drink his soda, "Have you written any other songs?"

"Totally. I just haven't recorded them or anything."

"How do you even know how to do them?"

"I play piano. What do you think?" I smirked at him.

Wildcard looked over at Ben.

"He's a scumbag."

"And we all know that," I sighed, "Weirdo. I wanna get back at them so bad..."

"But don't go too far. We don't wanna be responsible for like... a suicide or something," Wildcard said.

"It's more of you would take it too far. I would do it just fine."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah! Besides, Bethany wouldn't even care. She loves herself too much she wouldn't do it. Same with Ben."

"Spoiled brats," Wildcard scoffed. "So what are you gonna do?"

"Bethany and Ben hate the fact that I have no powers and stuff. So let's show them what powers can do..."

We were all walking to the courtyard, where I told everyone to meet after school.

"What are you gonna do?"

That's when Bethany and Ben came.

"Aw... look... Missy and her friends are having a dollie tea party."

"If it's a tea party for dollies then how come I don't see any of the dolls that belong to me? I know, because Bethany got jealous and decided to steal some because she can't get enough of how stupid she already looks."

Ben and Bethany were just where I wanted. So I raised my hands, took their underwear with telekinesis, and pulled up and down, up and down.

"AHHH!" they both yelled, being wedgie bounced.

"Ben's given wedgies to 1,400 people. Bethany's given wedgie to 700 people. Both of them added together is 2,100. So you have 2,100 bounces before you're set free."

"WHA--AHHH!"

"Bye! We're getting some yogurt from Pinkberry!"

We all skipped off and then, there we saw it. Alicia, Tara, and Anna. They were walking and then, began to laugh at Bethany and Ben. I tried to walk past her but Alicia grabbed my hand.

"Missy! It's so great to see you!"

"Wha--"

"Come on! Let's go do your hair in the girl's restroo--"

"What? I don't--"

"Girls! Makeup!"

"We'll wait.... out... here..." Slo-mo said, confused.

Then as I was shoved into the bathroom, Alicia began to dull up my face.

"You are gorgeous nowadays, you know that?"

"Uh... Alicia--"

"What conditioner do you use? It smells amazing!"

"Alicia--"

"You and I really need to keep in touch--"

"Alicia! Sorry... but... why are you being so nice to me? After what you did to me in second grade--"

"Yeah, sorry... I didn't think leaking a bad photo of you was gonna hurt you that bad."

"You did it for revenge," I said to her, "Because your crush asked me out instead of you!"

"Oh, little mistakes happen to 2nd grade girls!" she scoffed but I could tell she was getting irritated.

"My point is why are you here and what do you want? You never wanted to be real friends with me in the first place."

"I'm here because I wanted to see you again. But now? Now I see you're dating the guy of my dreams and you look gorgeous and stuff! If you're gonna be pretty, fine, at least just join my friend group and you make us all look good but if you're dating a hot guy and I got rejected by him... you're dead!"

"And now I have friends. I don't need you. You can stop--"

"But I won't stop. I won't stop even if it gets to the point where I make you give me Wildcard. I won't stop until my brother gets what he wants. I won't stop until you're fallen down again and ripped to shreds... just like you were back in second grade."

"Then why are you here? Being nice to me? There must be some game you're playing if you're making me look good."

"Because you still have a chance of being my friend again. To join my friend group, dump Wildcard, and start all over. We'll ignore the 'a' issue this time."

"I'll think," I said, obviously knowing it was a straight 'no'.

"Good. Then... see you on Monday! Have a great weekend and if you want, join us at the mall tomorrow! But you might be busy..."

"Yeah... it's Noodles' birthday tomorrow," I lied.

"Okay! Well, maybe next time! Bye!"

She skipped off and her two friends followed. I felt my blood boil. UGH! Why'd she have to know that I was too nice to say no sometimes?
