With the Velocrian King...
"They're doing too well," he commented, "Pass the marmalade."
"Sir, we have no marmalade--"
"THEN GO MAKE SOME!"
The Velocrian King watched as they soared through the sky.
"They've figured it out, haven't they?" he smirked as he watched Ojo draw something on her iPad.
"That little one from another planet... she's oddly peculiar... drawing on her iPad but not saying a word."
The king glared as they got off from the storm, tumbling off together, safe and sound, no matter how many times he tried to splay them apart.
"Well... they take one of my secret weapons... I take one of theirs."
MISSY MORENO
I trudged along the moist jungle.
"What is this?" Ojo put her fingers to the dark liquid coming off of the plants.
"The stupid stuff on this planet."
"Ugh!"
I couldn't help but wonder where Wildcard was. It was like a part of my soul was missing. He wasn't there to cheer me up, get me to loosen up... it was all just... gone.
"Earth to Missy? Missy? Earth to Missy!"
"AH!"
"You spaced out for a little bit. You okay?"
"Yeah... Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
And my mind traveled straight back to Wildcard with his thick dark hair and his alluring brown eyes... ones you could fall into and never reach the ground. I could almost feel him smirking at me, amused by how serious I was taking this. Though, this wasn't a regular circumstance. I stared at my bracelet. I stared for a long time. I almost touched it. I almost reached out to contact him.
Then, I looked back at my team. Curiously wandering through the woods, curious to see what was going on. Eager to spring at it. Desperately clinging on. Guppy savoring her water, trying to reserve every last drop like it would never come again. And it wouldn't come again. We had to count on survival skills.
"We should probably make a camp here. Spend the night."
"There's no tent. How? We're not sleeping in the place where acid might just drop all over us and kill us all!" Guppy exclaimed.
"Well..." I looked around, "It's... like solving a math problem. You need to have your formula before you "
I spotted it. An empty area with leaves hanging off from random trees.
"There."
Noodles grabbed some leaves, bedding the floor for us.
"Thanks, Noodles. Can you grab some of those large leaves over there? You know... put them together? Make a roof?"
"On it."
He stretched his arms up and began to layer the leaves, securing them with spider silk that had had found in a web, left unused. I smiled.
"We'll just cover ourselves with our jackets... and go hungry," I said when I realized we had no food.
WILDCARD
"Can we please go to the sushi shop?" Facemaker mumbled deliriously.
"There is no sushi shop. We're on this stupid planet!"
