MISSY MORENO

We all walked back from Pinkberry, shopping for frozen yogurt like regular teens do. That's when Bethany and her goons came. Like a cloud of rain over a birthday party. Everyone's learned wisely never to invite Bethany to their birthday parties because she'd always try and outdo the birthday girl. It's super annoying.

So as she walked up in her pink glittery knee-high platform high-heeled boots, she looked me up and down as if I was a china doll in her parade. And this time, I had enough information on her to know exactly what to say.

"Example," I hissed to my friends, "Watch me."

"Look at her," she snickered, "It's Missy More-desperate."

"No, no, no, no, no, you said it wrong. It's Missy More-desperate-to-stop-puking-when-she-sees Bethany-Howard's-ugly-face."

I heard 'ooh'ing from some of my friends and Bethany raised her eyebrows.

"I'll have you know, I am hot and pretty!"

"Yeah. Pretty stupid."

"You take that back!"

"I wish I could but just like your mother, she couldn't take you back to her womb and give birth to a better child."

Bethany gasped and I heard snickers from all around the resturant.

"You better watch it--"

"Who can beat who up in a couple of seconds?" I raised an eyebrow, "Would you like a crushing death or a burning one?"

"Are you threatening me?"

"Are you deaf or just dumb? Oh wait... I think you're both," I smirked, taking a bite of my yogurt.

"You... You're a bitch!" Bethany finally yelled, running out of things to say.

"And you're a desperate self-exposed drama peasant; I'm pretty sure we're on the same page. At least female dogs are cute."

She screamed, throwing her yogurt at me and stomping out of the yogurt shop and it fell on my head. And it was cold. Just like her attitude.

"Oh gosh!" A-Capella took the cup off my head.

"That was nice," I said, staring at the light pink streaks on my head, "Now I look like I got barfed on by some unicorn."

"That was awesome," Facemaker began to laugh, "You kicked her butt!"

"You look hot when you're mad," Wildcard said, giving me a kiss on my head, "Ooh! Bubblegum!"

"Wildcard! Stop kissing my head frozen yogurt!"

"Sorry!"

"But that was supreme," Fast Forward laughed, "Her face was priceless."

"Well we're getting on the late bus again. Might as well hang out by the library."

We all sat down and I got up to go to the bathroom.

WILDCARD

We all pulled out our homework and began to work on it. Meanwhile, I was busy spamming Missy because I knew she'd hate it. Yes, our love is strange, but very real. Then, I saw these three girls sashaying over and knew there was gonna be trouble.

"Revealing slut warning," I whispered to everyone and we just continued our studies, not wanting to see any other part of those girls.

Too bad they were walking straight towards us.

"Hey," one girl with strawberry-blonde hair sat down next to me.

She had forest-green eyes and tan skin and all of her just screamed, 'desperate'.

"Uh... hi?" I stared at her.

"What's your name?"

"Wildcar--"

"That's hot."

"Who... Who are you?" I caught myself before I could say 'what'.

"I'm Alicia. Alicia Fisher. Call me anytime. My phone number is--"

That's when Missy came back.

MISSY MORENO

I saw her. Alicia Fisher. That slut-faced whore just had to be back, didn't she? Sorry... I couldn't help myself. I'll work on the language. The moment she saw me, she stood up, ran over, and gave me the tightest hug she could muster.

"Hi, Missy!" she exclaimed, hugging me again.

Her two other friends, Tara and Anna came over and also hugged me. Guess who they were? My ex-friends. Let's just give you a tiny background check. Tara, Anna, and Alicia used to be my only friends back when I was in school. Of course, I broke it off with them when third grade came around and they all moved off to go to school in some fancy California prep school. And I thought they were out of my life for good. Guess I was wrong.

You know, the reason why they excluded me from everything was stupid. Because my name didn't end in 'a'. They claimed it would make their group sound weird, so they kept it Alici-a, Tar-a, and Ann-a. And they said I'd have to change my name to something like Missa or Marissa or Melissa and no way was that happening. I could see Wildcard's startled face. And I knew Alicia was only hugging me for clout.

"What are you doing here?" I pried myself away from her.

"I'm transferring to Silver Crest!"

Oh my gosh... Frick no...

Wildcard suddenly got up.

"Oh, and Missy! This is the hot guy I'm into!" Alicia motioned to Wildcard and Wildcard gave me a look. "His name is Wildcard," she continued, "Wildcard, this is Missy. Missy, meet Wildcard."

"I've already met her," Wildcard said, putting his hand in mine.

"Really? Small world! Well then, Wildcard, let me hook you up with my number--"

Wildcard looked in polite disgust--though I have no idea how you make disgust polite--and pulled me in, kissing me in front of Alicia. Ooh... bad move, Wildcard. This girl's a monster. Out of the corner or my eye, I saw Alicia's eyes turn into daggers. But smart Alicia didn't move. She simply smiled like a little angel and left with her two friends. Wildcard pulled away when they had left and I groaned, sitting down next to him.

"What was that all about?" A-Capella asked me when we were done.

"Well," I turned to her, "Every story's gotta have a mean girl, right?"

"Yeah?"

"Now that I'm taking Bethany down... Guess who showed up right in the nick of time?"

"She's transferring here?" A-Capella gasped.

"And not just that. After I take Ben down, I've gotta deal with her super hot brother who... who... wh--"

"Who what?" Wildcard asked quickly.

"Whohadabigcrushonmeandconfesseditthroughmakingfunofme."

"What? Sorry, you were saying it too--" Fast Forward started.

"Who had a big crush on me and confessed it through making fun of me," I said, slower.

"What guy does that to a girl he likes?" Wildcard said and everyone threw him looks. "I was mean to her, not making fun of her!"

"What does that chick want?" A-Capella asked.

"To ruin my life. Again."
