FAST FORWARD TO a couple of days later, there was a knock at the door of Mr. Miyagi's shop. "I got it, Mr. Miyagi," Daniel says, heading over to open the door. Darcy stands up from her seat to follow him. Daniel sighed as Mike Barnes and his friends came inside. "Oh, come on man!" He groaned. "Hey, LaRusso!" Barnes smirked, flicking off the lights. "Hey, man this isn't funny alright? Turn the lights back on!" Daniel tells him. He was done, he really wasn't in the mood for this right now.
"Heard you're not gonna compete this year in the all-valley, LaRusso," Mike says. "Yeah, so what? I'm not competing alright? I've made up my mind! So can we just forget this now?" Daniel begs as they back him into the wall. "Mike, just get out of here and leave us alone, alright?!" Darcy speaks up. "Well well, lookie what we have here," he smirks, suddenly turning to Darcy. She and Danny exchange looks, as Darcy backs away. "Just sign the application, LaRusso and we can leave you and your girl alone!" Mike's friend says. "I'm not signing the application! I'm not gonna compete!" Danny continues to protest.
"Please, just take your friends and get outta here!" Daniel argues. "Hey, Dennis! He didn't sign it yet!" Mike tells his other friend. Dennis shakes his head, and starts smashing stuff. "Hey! Hey!" Darcy shouts. "Hey, hey! Come on, guys! This is getting out of hand now, don't you get it?!" Daniel protests. "I'm not signing the application!" He continues, as they back him up. "Sure you are!" Mike smirks, waving it in front of him. "No he isn't, Mike! Just leave him alone!" Darcy yells, getting angry now. "I'm not gonna be there! You're wasting your time!" Danny tells him. Why doesn't this guy get it? Is he that stupid? Danny thinks to himself.
"Take off, alright?!" He snaps to Dennis. "You take off!" He snaps back, shoving him. "Come on, Dennis! Take him out!" Mike shouts as Danny shoves him back. "Daniel!" Darcy panics. "Take his eye out!" Mike's other friend shouts. Danny grabs Dennis and knees him right in the gut, throwing him into the wall behind him. "Yes Daniel!" Darcy cheers him on. Darcy then sees Mike's other friend racing for him, and kicks him in the gut before he could catch up, knocking him to the ground.
"Shit!" Danny says, shocked to see Darcy. Mike stares at her in shock, then kicks her in the stomach. "HEY!" Danny yells, "Come on, punk! Come on! Let's see what you got!" Mike challenges Danny, getting into a fighting position as did he. He threw a kick which he backed away from. "Nice kick, not bad!" Mike taunts him. Danny growls and throws a punch, as he ducked again. "Better! Good, but not good enough!" He continues taunting Daniel. Mike then goes in for attack, throwing multiple kicks at Danny, barely giving him a chance to fight back.
"Come on, get up!" Barnes shouts as Danny falls to the ground. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Darcy yells, lunging herself for Barnes as she jumps on his back to distract him enough. "GET OFF ME!" He yells, spinning around and flailing his arms around as he tried to get Darcy off.
Danny smiled a little as he watched, and picked himself back up again. Darcy was only able to stay on for about thirty seconds until Mike finally threw her off, crash landing her near a window. "HEY, MAN!" Danny shouts, as Mike shoves him onto the ground. "Just sign it, LaRusso! I'm running out of patience here!" He demands through gritted teeth, shoving the paper and a pen in his face. "STOP IT!" Darcy screams in the background. Danny grabs the paper, and goes to kick Mike in the gut, but he had beat him to that already.
"Hey! I'll kick your ass!" Mike threatened. He wasn't having it. "Just get out of here!" Darcy begged. Mike threw a roundhouse kick to Danny's face, sending him to the ground. "Save it for the tournament!" Mike's friend shouts. "Nail him!" His other friend yells. Just as Mike grabbed Daniel's arm and was about to punch him, the doors flung open. Daniel couldn't have been more happier to see Mr. Miyagi there. "Come on Mike, let's get out of here!" Dennis shouts upon seeing Mr. Miyagi as well.
"Come on, old man!" Mike shouts, dropping Daniel as he goes to throw a punch. Mr. Miyagi blocked every punch he tried to throw. He then kicked him and his other friend, and the three of them immediately ran out of there. They hopped into his car, and drove off. "I'll be back, LaRusso! I'm gonna get you man! You hear me! You're finished!" Mike threatens, as Darcy hooks her arm around his, looking at him with concern.
"You can't watch him forever, buddah-head!" Barnes shouts to Miyagi as they drive off. "Come, Daniel-San." He says as they watch them drive away. "Time take Darcy home," Mr. Miyagi tells him. "Yeah, Darcy you alright?" He asks her with genuine concern. "Yeah...I just want to lie down," She replies. Daniel knew Mike wasn't going to be going away anytime soon, so he had to be prepared.
