LATER THAT NIGHT, Daniel met up with Darcy for the concert. She was waiting for him outside the club when he waved to her. "I didn't know if you were gonna show up," She tells him as he comes over to her. "I heard about the help wanted sign." She adds sympathetically. "I wanted to explain about that..." Daniel sighs. He tells her how he's been under so much pressure, but that he was trying to work things out as much he can. "Things are coming together for me now, though. My training's great, and I'll be okay." He finishes.

"Well, then let's go rock and roll!" Darcy smiles. They took hands and went into the club, immediately to be greeted by blasting music and flashing lights everywhere. They loved the music, and started dancing right away. They didn't stop until they got so thirsty, that they had to grab a soda. He led them over to the line and got onto the end. While they waited together, Daniel looked around. He was surprised to see his new sensei, Terry Silver there. "Hey," He greeted him. "Let me buy you something to drink." He offers.

They waited in line and talked about the music, when a guy around Daniel's age started to talk to Darcy. "I've been watching you dance," He said. "You're really pretty. My name's Rudy," He introduced. "She's with me," Daniel steps in quickly. "Says who?" The guy asked. "I am," Darcy replied, as Daniel put an arm around her as if to protect her. "Get outta here, man." He tells him. "Look, I don't know who you think you are but I'd like a dance with--" Daniel didn't even think and interrupted the guy with a punch right to his face. Rudy fell backwards into the crowd. Darcy just watched, too shocked to speak.

"He broke my nose!" The man exclaimed. "Fight, fight fight!" The crowd around them began. Daniel looked at his own hand. Even he was stunned. He could hardly believe what he had just done. And the worst part for him was that it had been so easy! Darcy stared at him in horror. "Daniel!" She exclaims. She couldn't believe he's done this again. Darcy glared at him, before storming off again. "Wait! Darcy I--" Before he could chase after her, Rudy grabbed him and threw him against the table. Darcy paused when she heard a loud crash, and turned around to see Daniel laying across the table. "Danny!!" She cried out, racing back over to help him up.

Rudy smirked at him, cracking his knuckles. The crowds chants grew louder for them to fight. Darcy then glared at the guy once she helped Daniel back up, and threw a roundhouse kick for his face, making him stumble backwards. Once he regained his balance, he shoved her to the ground harshly. This woke Danny back up. "HEY! You son of a--" He then went in for another punch, but this time Daniel ducked it. He grabbed Darcy and helped her up now too, as they stood back to back of each other, ready to fight. Two more goons came out from the back, and headed their way.

"Look, I don't like hitting girls. That's no fun, alright? So why don't you just get outta here," Randy tells her, getting in her face. Darcy only responded with another roundhouse kick, as the guys went after them both. They kept at the combat for about a good ten minutes until Rudy and his goons were knocked out.

Daniel and Darcy were nearly out of breath, and they helped each other to the nearest seat. "You came back to help me?" Danny asked her. "I thought you didn't like it when I fought?" "I know but, nobody hurts you like that and gets away with it." Darcy said, making Danny smile. It felt good to have someone on his side. "Hey, kid. That was great! I mean, see how easy that was when you just put in the energy for it?" Terry Silver complimented Daniel. He didn't like fighting like that, in fact he felt like it was the most evil thing he's ever done to anyone, and his Sensei was giving him an A+ for it!

"That's killer instinct. You went for it, and bang! You're ready, kid." He continues. Daniel just looked at Silver, and saw himself. Now he understood why Darcy ran away from him and why Mr. Miyagi was telling him to stay away from him this whole time. "I just gotta get out of here!" Daniel says, pushing past him as he races out of the building. What was he turning into? Maybe Mr. Miyagi was right...
