After tons of arrows shot, and lots of laughter, we go up to my room.

"Perhaps a drink would be nice?" I offer Fredrick, internally praying he'd say yes.
"Yes, sure"
THANK THE LORD.
I ask my maids to bring us a bottle Vodka, as it's a pretty strong one.

"Today's a starry night, eh?" he says while quitly approaching me.
"Uh yes actually, you can see pretty much everything"
Looking up the window, I certainly can see everything.
"Well I'd love to see" he smirks while standing next to the telescope he's gifted.
"You're keen on stargazing huh?"

He adorably tries to look through it.
"How does shit even work?" He says while fumbling with some buttons and latches.
"Guess now it's my turn to be the teacher" I grin widely at his confused expression.
"Here." I press a button "And now look through here."
"Oh wow. This is exquisite"
"Are you even seeing anything?"
"No"
We both laugh at his idiocy.
I position the telescope towards the lovely full moon.
"Now, you can see the moon" I chuckle.
"Oh yes." He places his eyes looking at the moon.

Moments later, we hear a knock on the door.
The Vodka arrived.

"What if I tell you, I have the keys to the balcony" he takes a set of keys from his pocket and fumbles it towards me.
"Seriously?"
"Oh yes. But we'll have to be really careful."
"Not complaining"

We spend a couple of minutes talking and passing the bottle to one another. During which, we've scooped closer to each other, leaving merely inches.

Both us are pretty drunk by now, to the point where we're only mumbling nonsense and laughing like maniacs.

His eyes find mine, and just for a second, he's all I see.

A few days ago I would've looked into his eyes and saw only cruelty and coldness.
Well, I can't say that changed, I still think of him as brutal and monstrous.
However, a part of me can now see the better side of him.
The one whose wrapped up my wound the night we met.
The one who gifted me the telescope.
The one who was worried I'd hurt myself.

The one I'm eager to kiss right now.

At the end of the day aren't we all are a little monstrous?

The laughter by now is dead. And we're just lost in each other's eyes. Not a single word uttered. Not a muscle moved.

Until his eyes shift from my eyes to lips. Until he can't take it no more and break the tension, that so desperately wanted to be broken.

He kisses me passionately. Desperately. Like this is something he's been thirsty for.

My heart gave a very loud thud in my chest.

I've never realised how much I was yearning for his kiss.
How soft his lips fall in with mine.

It feels good. Too good.
Like I'm flying, and anytime now I will thump. Bones crushing.
I'm terrified.
I want this too bad. But I know the outcome wouldn't be pleasant.
I know that I'll need to hurt loads of hearts if I stay in this delighted heaven for just another second.

I'm not so certain I want to kiss him back yet. And I finally earn the power I needed to pull back.

He looks at me like he's almost hurt. But then within seconds he seals that emotion.
"Im sor-"
"No. I liked it. But, I don't think it's time yet" I meant every word.
Yes, I liked it. In fact, I loved it
"Oh- Um- Ya, ya"
