Her life was never perfect. Her mother abandoned her when she was just 3 years old and left her to fend for herself. Her days in the orphanage were something she never wants to remember.

After living there for 3 years, she finally decided to run away. But surviving in this cruel world was not as easy as many would think it is. Just when she thought she was going to die from hunger, like a small light in a dark room, a man in a Black suit offered her a small piece of bread.

This was the first time in her six years of existence that someone had given her something other than pain or a purple bruise.

Her eyes pooled up with tears, threatening to fall. However, she blinked them back with great difficulty and gulped back the gentle sob that was trying to escape.

Her small fingers wrapped around the bread and took it from the man's hand. She looked up
at the man, wanting to thank him, however, she halted.

The man's eyes were filled with deep hatred and disgust. She felt her small, thin figure cowering away from his intense gaze. Did she look that disgusting?

"What's your name?" He asked, gruffly.

"I-- I don't have one, sir." She answered barely above a whisper, feeling embarrassed.

It wasn't true tho. She did have a name. A name that her mother had left in her basket before leaving her on the doorstep of the orphanage.

Yang Y/N.

She was ashamed of it. The name reminded her of what she lacked. She despised her mother for leaving her here and not looking after her. If she was so much of a burden then why give birth to her? She had waited so long for her mother to come back and save her from this hell but she didn't.

Not that anyone in the orphanage called her by her name anyways. She had learned about her name when she accidentally stumbled across the basket her mother left her in.

She decided to forget about it.

The man looked at her before clicking his tongue as if standing in front of her was the most worthless thing he had ever done. But she didn't mind. This man was the first one to show her an ounce of kindness. No matter how much of a nuisance she was to him, she can't hate him.

She looked at him with stars filling her eyes. The man looked somewhere behind her and nodded curtly. She screeched when her small legs were lifted above the ground. The person who picked her up silently bought her inside a luxurious car and the car immediately started moving.

And that was how her journey to her end started.

4 years after she had been picked up by the men in Black suits, on her birthday, she discovered that they were mafia and the man was her father hard way. She went to the mall to buy her birthday dress and a gift for her newly discovered father, however, she never reached her home. The guard assigned to her was a lot more incapable than she realized.

She was abducted by her father's rival, who thought that she was her father's weakness. But they didn't know that the man didn't even think she was worthy of a name.

After 5 days of torture by the kidnappers, they eventually realized that she wasn't important and decided to kill her. However, just as they were about to blow her brain off, her father's men rushed in. She momentarily forgot all her pain and happiness filled her, thinking that he was here but no. It was just his men. He didn't even visit her after she was rescued.

She was angry at herself. Father must be angry because of how incapable I am of protecting myself. She started to work on her physical strength immediately after she recovered from her injuries. She started learning multiple languages, martial arts, self-defense techniques, and cooking lessons so she could please her father by cooking something for him. In the beginning, her fingers were full of cuts and burn marks but he never noticed.

This made her dive harder. Eventually, she mastered it but that man didn't even notice. After some years, he stopped eating when she was around. He would come after she slept and went out before she woke up. She hardly saw his face.

It wasn't hard to realize that the man had forgotten her existence and it was a stab in her heart.

She met him once when her father brought some business partners home and immediately fell in love with him. However, just like her father, he didn't even pay her a glance. Maybe it was just her fate that she always wanted things that never really were for her.

Just as she was thinking of giving up on him, he was transferred to her school. A small hope lit up in her eyes as she thought that if she tried a little then he will fall for her however, he fell for a good-for-nothing transfer student who cried if something didn't go her way.

She felt disrespected thinking that he liked that pathetic bug more than her. Out of despair, she started bullying the girls who came near him including that bug. She plotted against her by trying to plant kidnappers, traps, and frame her but it all went down the drain.

When he learned that she was behind all this, he tactfully killed her. It wasn't a quick death tho. He had kept her inside a basement for what she thought was 8 months. They didn't give her anything to eat and tortured her mercilessly and just when she thought she was about to die, they fed her to keep her alive.

In the end, when her father found her, she was already on the edge of dying. There was no way he or anyone could've saved her. In her dying moment, as she looked at her father staring at her she realized that it was the same look he had 15 years ago.

She couldn't even change the way he looked at her. He never once had called her his daughter. Never once had he asked her if she was alright. Never had he looked at her for more than 4 seconds. And yet, she couldn't bring herself to hate him.

How could she? She did everything she could to become the daughter he'd be proud of without even asking if he wanted one. Maybe it was her efforts that made him so distant from her. Did he also find her behaviors to be suffocating as Felix did?

She doesn't believe in god or second chances but she swore in her heart that no matter what happens, she would never repeat the same mistakes ever again.

A lone tear escaped from her closed eyes, sealing her pact with the universe.

That's how the life of Yang Y/N should've ended but who would've known that it was only the beginning?

Author's Rambling:

I don't own any BTS member, K-pop idols, or any other famous characters in this story that exists in real life. I own Y/N tho.

Don't think of copying my work because let's be honest.... I'll find out eventually because I read stories more than I breathe.

WARNING:

•THE STORY PLOT IS EXTREMELY SLOW. (Just like my writing speed)

•THE PLOT MAINLY FOCUSES ON Y/N AND HER LIFE AFTER REBIRTH.

•JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR: Y/N WAS  21 YEARS WHEN SHE DIED AND WAS REBIRTH TO THE TIME WHEN SHE WAS 10 YEARS.

•HER FATHER HAD JUST PICKED HER UP FROM THE STREETS AND MADE IT CLEAR THAT SHE WAS HIS CHILD BUT NEVER ADOPTED HER LEGALLY.

•ALTHOUGH SHE IS CONSIDERED A 'LEE' SHE IS LEGALLY STILL A YANG.

Enjoy the story, I guess. (If someone is even reading)
