"Drive the car to the back door after you are done dropping Young master," Haneun told the driver without even looking at Jinyoung, who was sitting beside her.

Jinyoung shifted in his place. In the car, it was only him, haneun and the driver yet he felt the pressure one would feel with thousands of people looking at them. He hesitantly turned his head to look at haneun, who appeared calm and collected.

It was a bit shocking, considering this would be the first time haneun is attending a party. There will be many influential people and it's normal for any child of her age to be anxious or panicked.

"What do you mean? We are both entering through the back door." Jinyoung stated as he sat up straight.

Haneun turned her head to look at him. Jinyoung felt that although she said nothing, her eyes were silently cursing him for being stupid and a nuisance.

"Some students in my school have a very influential background and they might be here too. I don't want to be seen with you." Haneun answered bluntly. It would be too troublesome to deal with those people later.

From what she remembered, Han Hye-Ri and her family attend almost all the parties thrown by the Lees. This time too there are chances that she will be there.

If she's seen beside Jinyoung, the next time when she shows her face in the school, everyone there would already know about her having some connections with the Lees.

Now, why would she want to spoil the reputation she has created for herself by getting her name involved with Mr. Lee and his family?

Jinyoung on the other hand, felt like someone has punched him in his guts. Not realizing what haneun actually meant, he misunderstood the meaning behind her words.

'Am I embarrassing?'

"Yes." Haneun agreed without any hesitation. She didn't care about how he was interpreting her words and hoped that he misunderstood.

Jinyoung sighed realizing he said his thoughts out loud. He knew that this was his payback for forcing her to attend the party. Haneun has never been talkative and it didn't bother Jinyoung. However, her silence these days made him feel uncomfortable. He took a deep breath and looked out from the window.

The car soon slowed down in front of a huge gate. The two guards who were guarding the gate immediately recognized the car's number and hurriedly opened the gate. The car, without stopping, drove inside.

When the car entered, it caught the attention of many guests that have already been there. Only a few people in this country can manage to buy a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Apart from being expensive, they were also limited.

Buying this car would not only require money but also requires a very powerful reputation.

The glasses of the car were tinted. Hence, no one could see the people inside the car. However, haneun could see the reactions of the people outside. She clicked her tongue.

'Pathetic vermins. So eager to bootlick anyone they think is more influential than them.'

Haneun could see the foxlike tendencies hidden in their eyes. It was amusing how such egoistic people like them, who would kill anyone who dare to meet their eyes, turn into paper tigers[1] when someone more powerful shows up. But this is how things work, right? After all, it's always the fittest that survives.
