The temperature around her dropped a few degrees unknown to the man that was hiding behind the trees. She had sensed his presence the very moment he thought that she was just a kid and decided to drop his guards. She thought something was moving in the shadows when she was talking with Namjoon but when she got up and left his side, she was sure it was another spy sent here.

In her previous life, after she was rescued by her father's men, many spies were sent behind her, but she was blissfully oblivious to that fact until some years before she died. But things were different now. She wasn't the same stupid girl she once was.

Due to her quick thinking, she formed a perfect escape route without the spy getting too suspicious. Although she wanted to stay and have a little fun with the spy, she can't do that... Yet. No matter how mature she was mentally, there was no way she could defeat a grown-up man. From the intensity of his footsteps, she could conclude that he didn't weigh much. However, that is more dangerous. Normally in their world, the people lacking body muscles make it up with their high intelligence and sharp fighting skills.

So it wasn't hard for her to understand that there was no way that her small, ten years old body which did barely any physical work, won't be able to win against whoever it was. She was dissatisfied with her current state. She wanted to have something she could release her frustration on. She breathed out softly and continued walking towards the mansion while keeping an ear on the said man's movements. If he still hasn't attacked her, then there are chances that he was just hired to keep an eye on her. The question was, by whom?

No matter what, this mansion is very well protected. There is no way someone so inexperienced could sneak in. It was not only the fact that she had sharp hearing but also, the man was doing a very bad job at being subtle. He let his guard down and underestimated his opponent. Two biggest mistakes one can do.

She entered the mansion without a single scratch on her. Just before the guards closed the door, she turned her head slightly towards where she thought the man stood, trying not to make it obvious. And as expected, she saw a small shadow retreating. Her eyes narrowed at the figure for a quick second before she turned back and headed towards her room as if nothing happened.

"Young miss!" Mr. Oliver hurriedly called for her attention just as she was about to open her bedroom door. She turned around and calmly waited for him to reach her. He fastened his speed, trying not to make Haneun more.

"Your father-- I have arranged a proper teacher for you! She said she will test you tomorrow." He quickly said while panting softly. Haneun nodded but her brows creased.

"Test?" She questioned Oliver while tilting her head a little. Mr. Oliver found her very cute at the moment. After her kidnapping, not only Oliver but everyone around Haneun noticed that she no more showed her emotion. Before, it was clear when she was upset, angry, happy, or anxious. But now, her face was just a blank face. And although her face was still blank, she managed to look like a lost child.

He nodded, "She is the best teacher in Korea and teaches only the ones that have the potential. Before officially starting to teach you, she said that she will test if you know the basics of business."

"That's understandable. What time?"

"Her appointment was fixed in the evening."

"Ok. Just make sure to remind me a few hours before she arrives," Haneun said while looking up at Mr. Oliver and quickly entered her room without saying anything. She switched on the lights in her room and went inside her bathroom to freshen up. She wore her usual two-piece, pink night dress and lay on her bed.

Unknown to her, a soft smile crept on her lips as she remembered her time in the garden. She finally knows his name. Kim namjoon. Even his name sounds smart. She will make sure to keep him close because, for some reason, she knows that he'll be a useful asset in the future. She doesn't consider him as her friend. For her, he was barely someone she can tolerate being near her. She had given up on making friends and trusting anyone that is not her a long time ago. She'll see how long he can tolerate her being around and when he is done, she'll just watch him leave. No feelings attached.
