Mark Masa

Why do I keep being dragged by a lot of people lately? They keep on doing this like I'm some kind of kid that keeps on stealing candies from them.

P' Bar is smaller than me and here he is, pulling me with so much strenght his body could handle. He leads me out of the noisy music room, away from his bestfriend, P'Vee.

I don't think we were seen by most people back there as they were all in chaos preparing for the next day's contest for the Moon and Star of the university.

It would create another misunderstanding like what happened to P'Vee and me at the cafeteria. Especially now that the rumor between P' Bar and the faculty of Medicine's moon, Tossakan is materializing. They overtake P'Vee and Ploy's gossips at the university's fb page now a days. They are becoming the number one hot couple everyone loves to talk about. I can't get caught in between again.

I don't know why P' Bar is acting this way. He lashes out at P' Vee back there before pulling me away. I admit I was a little worried with the exchange of conversation between this two. P' Vee was being careless around P'Bar that he was obviously insinuating that something is going on between the two of us. And P' Bar talks as if he already knew.

P' Bar stop walking when we reach a desserted corridor and turn to look at me. He looks like he's worried of something.

"Mark! Tell me. Do you like Vee?" I cough out suddenly from his straightforwardness.

"P'. I..I..." what do I answer him?

"I know something is going on between you two. There is more to the story about his cousin and you." P' Bar's gaze is telling me he'll gonna get his answers no matter what.

"What did he do to you Mark? Did he do more than punching? What really happened between you two to make him act like this? He wasn't himself for a few days now."

P' Bar continue bombarding me with his questions. I just stared down at my shoes. I am thinking what to answer P. I can't look at his eyes because his eyes won't let me think of a lie.

"P. There is nothing. Really. We already settled that misunderstanding between me and his cousin." I answered without looking at him.

"Then what's with the awkwardness between you two? Don't lie to me Mark. I'm trying to help you." He reach out to put his hand on my shoulders.

"We live in the same building Mark. Someone accidentally saw you two that night. When you were too drunk and brought a guy with you. But then Vee made that nong to go home and went inside your room instead. He never left your room that night." P ' Bar was now watching my reaction. I was too shocked with what he just said.

"It was the first day you two meet Mark. How can you make me believe you let someone you just met sleep in your room willingly like a friend? You two are no friends. Did he really just sleep? And you avoided him for days after that Mark while he was restless trying to look for a way to talk to you. Now tell me there is nothing going on between you two." He gently squeezes my shoulder looking rather concerned.

I can feel my hands shaking. I had kept this problem with P'Vee to myself for as long as I can remember. Knowing that someone is aware of this made me feel vulnerable. But P' Bar's gentleness makes me want to tell him more. Maybe this burden would lessen if I open up to him.

I told P'Bar everything while trying to hold my tears from falling. His facial expression dims after hearing everything.

"I will talk to him Mark. That bastard!" He curses.

"No need P'. It was partly my fault. It's because I let my self fall deeper. I should stop myself because I was already aware he has a girlfriend."
