Whatever happened back at the beach between Mark and me, it stayed there. After I stormed away from that foul mouthed kid, I just went to dipped myself on the sea to cool off my head. No matter how hurt or angry I was with Mark, I still searched for that kid's presence in the dining area of the hotel during diner.

The room was packed with the students from the faculty, eating and chatting excitedly with each other, creating a friendly atmosphere around. This is one of the Gear Ceremony's objective which is to create a strong bond between the students of engineering.

It was also supposedly to make the relationship between Mark and I clearer. But what do you expect to happen between two people with contrasting personality?

I sighed loudly thinking of the fight between us that ocurred earlier. This whole trip was like a roller coaster of moods for the two of us. It started with the feeling of frustration when we weren't seated next to each other on the bus. Then the jealousy took over when my friend Neau kept on advancing himself to my kid. Then somehow Mark was able to find a way for us to sit with each other. There was a moment of bliss as we sleep side by side with each other, sharing airpods and listening to some love songs. But it didn't last when Mark accidentally read Ploy's messages. Yet again there was the sunset moment. I had the best pictures of Mark and some couple pictures of the both of us with the orange sun as the background. But it all ended with the harsh exchange of words between us, hurting each other once again.

Looking at the clock on the wall, it's only 7:30 in the evening. I hope I can still fix things between us. I don't want this trip to be put to waste.

I scanned around the room for Mark but couldn't find him. I saw his friends sitting over the corner with some of the first years but Mark wasn't with them.

"Vee! Here! We reserved a seat for you." I saw Kla waving his hands to me just a table away from Mark's friends. He was sitting with the rest of our friends. I dragged my feet in their direction. I have no plan to eat dinner. I have no appetite or just simply not hungry. I just wanted to find Mark as soon as possible.

"Who are you looking for? Your neck is like a giraffe's now."

"Oh do you even need to ask who he is looking for ai Pan?"

"He is looking for his wife."

"Huh! The wife must be sulking by now." I sit beside Yiwah who was smirking at me. She always know things ahead from everyone else.

"What? Stop smirking to me like that. Just tell me where your code line is if you knew." I told her while picking a watermelon at Kla's plate.

"Oh your the husband. Why are you asking me?" Damn woman! She always have a sharp tongue like her junior code line.

"Why don't you call him? Are you stupid or something? You have your phone with you." Bar said sitting a little too close with his boyfriend Kan who insisted earlier to go with Bar regardless of his faculty.

"Hey watch your mouth best friend. Do you think I would asked you guys if I had successfully communicated with that kid? His phone is turned off! Damn it!" The next slice of watermelon I stole from Kla's plate fell on the table as I cursed.

"Then it's clear P Vee. He doesn't want to talk or to see you." Kan told me smiling while looking at Bar. Stupid couple!

"Why don't you sleep it off tonight Vee? You can talk tomorrow when both of you have cooled down." Neau looked at me as if he had nothing to do with any of this.

"It was partly your fault Neau! Damn it!" I kept on cursing while targetting Neua's food this time. He just smiled and pushed his plate closer to me.
