Vee VivisThe moment the performance from Mark and those two other kids ended, the whole crowd was cheering. But they were not just cheering and shouting Fuse's and Prim's name. Many audiences were also shouting Mark's name. The loudest is from the group of girls behind me. So annoying.
I turn to look at them and gave a death glare that they never noticed. They were busy jumping on their feet and waving at my boy.
"Oi! You are noisy!" I yelled at them scolding. But I don't think they heard me because of all the noises around us.
I felt a sharp pain on my right and see Yiwah glaring at me. She just gave me a sharp nudge on my side after seeing what I have just done.
"What, Yiwah?" I asked her now turning to look at the kid that bowed with the moon and star of our faculty and started leaving the stage. But before he could fully walk out, he turn back at my direction and wave at me as if there was only me that he wanted to say goodbye to. Isn't he just adorable?
Mark did what I have requested him to do. It was a gamble when I negotiated with this kid not expecting he would actually do it. I was really worried about him going tonight considering he still aches all over his body and the fever only subsides when he takes some antipyretic drugs every four hours.
But the kid insisted arguing that he will not be able to go to school again if he abandons his friends today. This kid really loves his friends so much that it irritates me. How can he choose them over me when I was the one who made him moan that loudly last night? Damn kid!
I know I couldn't stop him from going no matter what I say to him. So I made that deal. But I keep my hopes down considering how stubborn he could get if it comes to me.
But Mark just did what he promised me. Up there in the stage with Fuse and Prim didn't make Mark less noticeable in his light blue turtle neck (which he was forced to wear to hide the bite marks I gave him last night) and some black jeans. The hair artist did well in styling Mark's hair. His fair skin appears so fresh and radiant under the spotlight. His dimples showing a little. I can't blame those girls that started shrieking his name too excitedly. The boy was just plain attractive. I myself cannot take my eyes off him.
Happiness glowed inside me when Mark laid his eyes to no one but me all through out his performance. I could barely conceal my delight as I myself was beaming. His gaze somehow made me feel how my existence meant to him.
"You were staring too much to my nong Vee." Yiwah is still looking, all suspicious.
"What are you talking about? Ofcourse I'm staring. Fuse and Prim were really good up there. And Mark too." I answered her trying to look all normal. She raised an eyebrow.
"But I think you were only looking at one of them."
"Don't be stupid Yiwah. You are imagining things. How can you tell when it's all dark here?" I argued now frowning at her.
"..."
"Oh, I'll have to go pee." I excuse myself without letting her answer my last sentence. I hurriedly went through the crowd, away from Yiwah to go back stage to Mark. I need to see the kid as soon as possible. I'm missing his gaze already.
As soon as I open the door to the back stage, I see Mark immediately as he too is trying to walk out from it. Our gaze met while I still holds the door knob.
"P' Vee." Him and his voice again, stirring me all up.
"Mark. Uhmm. Err.. Where are you going?"
"To you P'." He answered without wavering. Why is he doing this to me? I could just kiss him right here and then.
"Really? Why?" Am I stupid? Really? Why? Damn!
