"It took you a while to go home, why?" it was Aviona. We're heading home right now after she fetched me at the airport. "Sobrang kulit ng mga kaibigan ko, ayaw akong paalisin. Kanina nga umiyak pa ang mga buang bago ako umalis. Kung hindi pa inawat ng mga guard, sa malamang naiwan na ako ng eroplano."

"Lucky you. Finally, you made friends after all these years."

"Yeah. It was fun having friends. Why I never thought of that a long time ago?" I sarcastically said.

"Because you focused on yourself than anybody else. It's okay naman. There's always a chances for everything." she smiled and continued to drive.

"Making friends is better than having a lover."

"Wow may hugot. It's fun having both, you know?" she said.

"Palibhasa, puro ka sikreto. Kita mo, after a month that I left, nabalitaan ko na ikakasal ka na pala? How dare you keeping a secret from me, again? Tsk."

"If you and Cyrus didn't break up, malamang ay mas nauna ka pang ikasal sa 'kin." binigkas na naman n'ya ang pinaka-ayaw kong marinig, hys. "Don't bring that bastard's name. It's his fault why we broke up." my mood suddenly changed.

"I see. You finally moved on, but you still don't want to hear his name. Ang taong naka-move on na ay kahit anong marinig ay 'di na effected, unless.." she then turned her sight on me. Her teasing look again. Tsk.

I suddenly felt awkward, "w-what?" parang biglang nanlaki ang mga mata ko dahil sa tingin niya, kaya bigla akong umiwas.

She giggled, "got you."

"How's mom and dad?" I suddenly asked. "Mom is okay."

"What about dad?"

She sighed, "I don't know. He's been quite sick these past few weeks."

"What?" I was shocked. "Bakit 'di mo sinabi sa 'kin? Stop keeping secrets from me, please?"

"He's the one who initiated not to tell you, and Marian. He don't want us to worry."

When we arrived at the house, I quickly went out from the car. Sina manang Linda ay kinuha ang mga gamit ko sa loob. Pumarito lamang s'ya nang malaman niya na darating ako.

"Mommy!!!" it was Allison who ran towards me and hugged me. I kneel down to embrace her. "Hi, I miss you."

"I miss you too, mommy!"

"Are you being a good girl here?" I asked,she nodded. "Yeah. Lolo and lola is taking good care of me while you're away."

"I'm here now. Let's go?" we intertwined our hands and walked joyfully. "Ate, sa salas lang kami!" sigaw ko kay Aviona.

"Did you buy me toys?" Ali asked. She's so excited with her toys than seeing me. "Yeah. I have so many pasalubong for you, but first we need to eat. Got it?"

"Let's eat! Let's eat!" she keeps on dragging me while she holds her toy.

"Let mommy rest for a while, Ali."

Bigla kong nilingon ang pinanggalingan ng boses na 'yon. "Mom, dad!" tumakbo agad ako papunta sa kanila at niyakap sila. "I miss you!" I embraced them tightly. I did what Ali did to me kanina.

"We missed you, too." it was mom, and when I turned my eyes on dad, he has a cane with him and he looks pail and weak. "Dad. . . "

"Let's eat," saka niya ako inakbayan at mapaklang tumawa.
