"Ma," sigaw ko kay mama habang bumababa mula sa kwarto, "nakita mo ba 'yong white channel bag ko?" tanong ko sa kaniya habang sinusuot ko ang hikaw ko.

Pagkababa ko ay agad niya akong sinalubong, "Ang alin?" tanong n'ya habang may hawak pang sandok.

"My white channel bag, ma."

"Alin d'on, hello? You keep on buying expensive shits when you can't bring them on your own grave when you die," at saka siya tumalikod, "... save your money for your future, Carrel,"

I breathe deeply, "Ma, this is already the future, hello? And F.Y.I... is buying expensive things not enough reason to enjoy life, because when I die I don't think I would enjoy doing shits in hell? Kaya nga bili ako nang bili kasi 'di ko na ma-i-experience 'yon kapag na-tsugi na ako e--"

"... better enjoy life while you're still alive? I know, duh?" she broke off. I was a bit shock with her language these past few days. "Anyway, I just washed it yesterday. Go check it in the laundry room."

I was stunned, "What the hell, mom?!" I almost shouted, "You just washed my P323, 756.89 limited edition channel bag!"

"That expensive? It looks cheap, by the way," she casually said.

I gasped and went mad like a brat. "Damn you, universe," I cursed when I saw how crumpled my bag is. Parang nanghina ako at naawa sa sarili ko.

I WENT to the mall since it's Saturday at wala namang special classes ngayon. Gusto ko lang kalimutan 'yong kanina. Tangina, parang tumae lang ako at na-i-flush agad. Wala pang dalawang buwan sakin 'yon simula nang dumating ako sa Pilipinas.

Pumunta muna ako sa Watsons para bumili ng eyeliner at ruby woo-shaded-matte lipstick. After that, I also went to the potato corner to buy some fries. Then finally, had a late lunch in Kuya J's Restaurant. I like their buttered mussel as an appetizer, kaso ang tagal nilang i-serve.

Pagkatapos kumain, I decided to go to the third floor ng SM. Nandoon kasi ang movie theatre, pero bago 'yon ay bumili muna ako ng popcorn. Cheese na ang flavor na binili ko kasi the last time I spared some time with myself, isang linggo akong hindi nakapagsalita dahil sa caramel-flavored popcorn.

I finally went to my seat. Nasa taas ako kaya punyeta kitang-kita ko lahat. I watched Untogther movie kasi nand'on si Jamie Dornan. He's my favorite actor. Not only because of his strong sex appeal, but because of his pleasing personality. I got a chance to meet him when he had a photoshoot in New York. I like his biceps. Oh lala. But he has a wife and a cutie child, so no thanks. I'll rot to death as his fan.

Moving on...

Kilig na kilig lang naman ako dito sa gilid dahil sa kissing scene sa kusina nang biglang may naghalikan sa harap ko. They stole my attention from the movie. Tang ina, first time? Mga walang hiya! Mga walang respeto sa mga single!

How to unsee? Damn, I need to wash my eyeballs after this.

"Naiinggit ka ba sa kanila?"

Halos tumalon palabas ang puso ko nang biglang may nagtanong ng ganun sa 'kin. "Ay kabayo, " I almost shouted. Halos lahat ng mata ay nasa 'kin dahil rinig ng lahat ang sinabi ko. I just made a peace sign after they 'shush' me.

Binaling ko agad ang tingin ko sa katabi ko and whispered, "Hayup ka," pinaghahampas ko pa nang marahan ang braso n'ya sa inis, "Sa dinami-dami ba naman ng gugulatin mo ay ak--" nagtama ang mga mata namin pagkatapos n'yang magsabi ng, "Aray, tama na!" damn it.
