"Uhm-Bananacue?" sabay lahad sa kanya ng dala ko. Tae. Mas bet ko pa yata 'to kaysa dun kay Cyrus!
"For me?" sabay tanggap ng dala ko. "Thank you. Nag abala ka pa."
"I don't mind naman. Maliit na bagay. I just wanted to welcome you here in our village because we're neighbors now." Sabay ngising aso. Amp parang aso na nga talaga ako! Rawr? Ay arf arf pala!
"Btw, I'm Therence." nilahad niya ang kaniyang kamay para makapag shake hands kami.
Tinanggap ko naman iyon. "Carrel.. Carrel Yvonne Buenavista." Sabay ngisi. Pinaglandas ko ang aking mga mata sa kaniyang kamay. His veins were perfectly tattoed upon his wrist. Shet mami pancit canton. Ugat pa lang ulam na. Charot! Gaga ka talaga self!
"Wanna come in?" he asked.
Tae naputol yung imagination ko.
"Ah nope. Next time na lang." wow may balak pa 'kong pumunta dito next time ha?! "I have something to do pa kasi eh and I have work tomorrow." wow talaga ba? Arte ha! Ba't parang ang landi ko yata ngayon?
I walked my way home and punched the air. Ehhhhhh charot with silent c!
"Mukhang ang saya mo yata ma'am ah." manang Linda noticed.
Nag walling ako sa pinto sa sobrang kilig. Di ko alam pero feeling ko mukhang tanga na'ko. 'Di mo ba inakalang may teacher na humaharot ng ganito? Tss. Ako lang 'to oh. Paturo ka paano humarot? 'Lika at mag seminar ka na sa'kin. Charot.
"Gaga ka talaga manang, Ba't di mo sinabi na gwapo pala yung kapit bahay natin?" sinisi ko pa siya kung bakit 'di niya sinabi na may fafa na nakatira dun. Ansarap kutusan ni manang.
Ngumisi siya. "Alam ko ma'am." Tsaka siya umupo sa sofa habang ako ay nakaupo pa rin sa sahig.
"Ano, ba't di mo sinabi?" I almost shouted when I asked her that question. Halos masamid ako sa sarili kong laway sa ka-gagahan ko kanina. Kung sinabi niya sana edi mas nakapag-ayos ako nang mabuti!
Bumaling siya sakin. "Simple lang 'yan ma'am. GUSTO.KITANG.MAGKA.LOVE.LIFE." At talagang inisa-isa niya pa at diniinan mga sinabi niya. Hype talaga.
"Tuyot kasi lovelife mo ma'am kaya naawa ako sa'yo. Daig pa kita. Naka afam ako. Baka bisitahin niya nga ako, anytime." Ay mga maharot nga namang tunay mga nakatira sa pamamahay na'to.
"Ewan ko sa'yo manang. Dami mong sinasabi." Tsaka na'ko tumayo at inayos ang sarili ko. I told manang that I'll take a rest for a while so that she can cook for our dinner.
I lay on my bed and took my phone. I checked my social media accounts and replied to some messages from my friends.
After a while, I clicked my Facebook app and quickly tapped the search button to stalk Therence. But, I don't know his fall name. Ugh, kairita. I was just scrolling down on my news feed when a friend request notification showed up.
OH MY GOD! It was Therence who sent me a friend request. Crush ko na'to maaaa! I accepted the request. Pati siguro tadhana ay nauurat na sakin kaya dininig ang aking mga hinaing. Charot.
He also followed me on my IG! And follow back ko rin, hello! Sabay stalk. Stalker na yata ako shemays!
Daming followers ah. Ganda ng pandesal, tamanag tama at mahilig ako sa kape! Charot with silent c.
Minutes had passed and I saw that he sent me a dm on IG.

I replied and asked if he was not yet sleepy and he said he was not. Our conversation went well and long. Hanggang sa kumatok si manang na kakain na daw.
We both went downstairs when someone knocked at the door. I told Manang that I'll go after her.
I opened the door and... "Therence?"
He smiled. "Can I come in?" he asked. Of course you can! Duh pumasok ka at ng hindi ka na makalabas. Charot. Friends na ba kami? As far as I remebered a while ago, kaka-kilala pa lang namin sa isa't isa.
"Tamang tama at kakain na kami." I said.
"Oh, that was my plan."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?"
I asked.
"Nothing." He said and I lead him to the kitchen.
Kakakilala ko pa lang sa kaniya kanina tapos nagyon ay nasa loob na ng bahay ko. Hmmm... baka 'di ko na 'to palabasin.
We ate and did some chitchats. He stayed only for a while because he said he has to leave for work early, tomorrow morning. Pumunta ba siya dito para makipag-kaibigan o para lang sa pagkain?
Monday came...
After the flag ceremony, I fixed my things first. I was in the middle of the campus when me and Miss Ada, our guidance counselor, met. I saw her out from the principal's office.
"Pinapatawag ka sa office, Miss Buenavista." she said.
I'm hugging the books I brought when I asked her what was with the sudden call and she said she have no idea. I let her pass when I thought she has nothing to say anymore.
My advisory class is located on the 3rd floor. It's a good thing, I saw one of my students and favored him to kindly bring my things up and I'll follow after.
"Late ka na naman. Mr. Lacristo." I said after handing him my things.
He scratched his head before answering me. " sorry po ma'am. May emergency kasi sa bahay. Di na po mauulit." Sabay bow. "sige ma'am mauna na po ako." I just nodded and went toward the principal's office
I opened the door and I saw the madam principal signing some papers. "Good morning, Maam. Pinapatawag niyo daw po ako,?" I asked.
Oh, you're here hija.
"Can I ask a favor?" she asked.
" You're already asking ma,am." namilosopo pa. Feel ko bawas sahod to.
She meddled her eyeglasses upon the bridge of her nose and she raised her left eyebrow at me.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," I said.
" CAN YOU DO ME A FAVOR, MISS BUENAVISTA?" she asked again.
"Yes ma'am, anything."
"Good," she said
"I want you to tour Mr- Oh here he is"
The door suddenly opened and lumingon naman ako. What the hell? His manly fragrance spread all over the office.
