Ch.44: Games

At the beach (Dinner Time)

It was bustling with a large crowd standing near the bar. Another group gathers around the band playing very hyped dance music on a wooden platform. You raise your eyebrows as you see a young couple grinding against each others' body while thinly cladded. The guy wearing only his shorts. The girl in her bikini.

Your attention was redirected toward the barbecue stand adjacent to the bar, As Levi wraps his arms around you and guides you to walk with him.

He lead you to sit at a table with two chairs, as he lightly holds your shoulder with his hand, he says, "I'll get us something to eat, are you cold?" Levi asks. As you gaze at him wearing only shorts and a black shirt.

"No, I'm fine," you say before looking down at yourself wearing your bra tank top and shorts. It was a warm night with a light breeze carrying ripples across the waves of seawater, the moonlight glistens on the surface with each movement.

Levi goes to get food. While you waited, you catch a group of three guys sitting at the bar across from the barbecue stand staring at your direction. You didn't give it much thought, since there were others sitting behind you.

You gaze back at Levi who is still waiting in line. Then from the side you hear soft steps on the sand coming close to where you're sitting.

You place your hand on the side of your head as you thought, no this is not happening.

"Hey there," a man's voice comes from the side, where you're trying to avoid any socialization towards anyone with your hand blocking the view toward the bar.

You lift your hand away and look up, standing next to your chair was one out of the three man who were sitting at the bar staring towards your direction. You stared him up and down. A man with brown hair and tanned skin, he has a nice physique, but nothing compared to Levi's.

"Like what you see?" the man says with a cocky smile.

"No, I've seen better," you try to wave him off, but he showed no intention of leaving as one of his buddies comes to stand beside him.

"Hi," a lean dark haired man with a goatee says as he puts his arm around his brown haired friend.

You glance at the dark haired man, as you say with a fake smile "I would appreciate it if you guys would leave me be, while I wait for my husband to get our dinner."

" I apologize for this dumbass for trying to hit on a married woman," the dark haired man jokingly chokes on the brown haired guy with his arm around his neck, " That's not what we're here for.. See that guy over there?" the dark haired man asks, as he points towards the bartender, shaking up a drink for another customer at the bar. The bartender looks up and sees that the dark haired guy was pointing at him, so he gives a slight nod as a greeting with a smile on his face.

The dark haired man glances at you seeing that you've seen the bartender, he says, " Lucas wants to give this sweet couple a free drink to welcome you to the party. So, we're coming over to see what you guys would like to get, since he can't come over here to take the order himself. And I'm Sean by the way," the dark haired man explains with an outreach hand for you to shake.

You glance at his hand, and lightly shakes it with your hand clasp around his, as he asks, "What's your name?"

You retrieve your hand and looks up at Sean at his question, "Emily," you reply as you give him a fake name that you first thought of from the top of your head.

You continue to speak, "Thank Lucas, the bartender for the offer for me," you say as you glance at the bartender making drinks at the bar once more, then looks back at Sean, "We'll come over to order our drinks, when my husband comes back."
