Ch.40: Night (Slight Lemon)

Day 3 on the train (Night)

That night after dinner at 7 o'clock, you and Levi dressed up for your date. You wear a beautiful long dress with a short jacket. While Levi got dressed in white dress shirt, outside a dark blue suit with a pair of matching dark blue pants.

You feel his fingers lightly touch your fingers as the both of you walk down the hallway of the carriage. You grab his hand into yours, as the both of you walk pass the wooden arch that decorated the entrance to the bar. You feel his hand lightly squeezes yours, until the both of you sit down at the bar. Some light jazz music fill your ears and you look around the interior of Car 6, now decorated like a vintage nightclub, the area is light up by the oil lamps incased in its glass interior.

You swivel your bar chair back, as Levi orders the drinks for you. While the bartender got to work, you and Levi gaze at the awing performance as the bartender throws the bottle into the air and catches it, then he throws another under his arm and catches it again. You clap at the excitement, as the others sitting one seat apart applaud for the bartender's performance.

The bartender skillfully slides two coasters on the wooden surface of the bar, then places a drink on each coaster.

You wrap your fingers around you glass of drink, wiping up the water droplets off the surface with your thumb, as you glance at Levi, who stirs his drink with the cherry top sticking out.

"You didn't order something too strong for me, did you?" you ask.

"Of course not," Levi says, as he clasps his finger on the cherry steam.

"Here. Try mine." you hear him say, then you feel his fingers grasp your chin, and tilts your head. Then your lips touch the damp skin of the cherry soaked in his beverage. You can taste the small amount of alchol as it slightly runs against your lips, then you open your mouth and takes a bite out of it.

Before you could complete cut your teeth into the juicy meat of the cherry. Levi leans foward toward you. His lips drew close as he tilts his head to the side. His half lided eyes gazes into yours as he takes a bite out of the other side of the cherry. His lips lightly brush against yours as he take a bite. You quickly grab hold of the cherry on its still unattached stem, so it won't fall as you take a bite out of it.

You lightly dab your finger on your redden lips, chewing as to not spill an juice.

"Mmh," you sounded as you swallow, and stuck out your tongue, "Too throughly soaked, a bit bitter."

Levi grabs some napkins from the side of the bar and hands you one. You take it and wipe your lips. Then you take your glass, lightly swirl the drink in the glass before you take a sip. It was a slightly sweet drink with a slight bit of alcohol in it. Washing away the bitterness in your mouth.

Levi takes a sip of his drink, "The drink itself isn't bitter," he says then lightly sucks in the droplets hanging on his soft lips. Levi swivel is bar chair around as he glances at the band now playing a slow song. Levi slides off his chair and reaches a hand out to you.

"May I have this dance?" he asks.

You look at him with a smile, "Of course," you reply as you take his hand. You let him lead you to the long rectangular wooden platform. Levi pulls you into his embrace, as you look at him. You feel his hand wrap around to your back, as he pulls you close to him. You place both your arms on his shoulders as you gaze into his grey eyes. Both of your bodies lightly swaying to the music. Then he lifts one hand up, and twirl you around in place before pulling you back into his arms.

You smile at him, "I didn't know you can be a bit playful while you say you don't know how to dance." you say.

"I'm learning from what I see," he says, as he glances at the couple between you dancing along with the music as well. Levi brings up back to the bar after the music stopped.
