After Bucky escaped from HYDRAS grasps Tony takes him in while he's in hiding as they find a way to erase the words that continue to haunt his mind and fuel him with fear of becoming the monster he once was under HYDRAS control.

I hurried out of the conference room in hopes of taking a shower and relaxing because now I was on edge for the mission.
"Hey," I felt a cold grip on me.
I turn around to see Bucky.
"Hey," I smile shortly at him hoping he didn't just see right through my smile in there.
"I know you're scared but I promise I won't let anything happen to you."
"I-I'm not scared."
He gives me a knowing look.
"Okay fine I am but not for me."
"Then what are you scared of?" He asked looking confused.
"I'm scared for you," I say as his expression turns into a look of confusion and sadness, almost as if he's disappointed. God I hope I didn't just freak him out by saying I was worried for him.
"You don't need to worry about me," he says shaking his head looking down at his feet.
"Well I am, Shuri and Steve have worked really hard to help you and I'm worried that something is going to go wrong and ruin all the progress you've been making. Everything Steve did to help you and get you here will have been for nothing."
He steps closer to me with a softer expression placing his hands on my shoulders.
"Everything will be fine," he says with a smile. "You don't need to worry, I've handled worse," he laughs.
"Yea you're right," I said sighing as he hugs me.
"Hey firecracker," I hear Tony say walking up to us as I quickly let go and push Bucky away from me.
"Watch yourself Barnes," he says to Bucky. Bucky just nods and steps back a bit.
"Kid you got nothing to worry about, everything will be fine."
"Yea..I'm not gonna lie though I am a little nervous for my first mission," I admit. I did say I wasn't scared but I am a bit nervous.
"Don't be, remember the water hole? You got through that."
"H-How is that even remotely close to a serious mission?"
"What's a water hole?" Asked Bucky from next to us as Tony just looks at him annoyed. Probably assuming he would've walked away by now.
"It's this place Tony and I go to when it gets hot out for fun, it was Tony's way of spending time together whenever he was too busy with work. It's a little far but there's almost no one there whenever we go and it's really pretty. There are these mini cliffs we would jump off of into the water and it was just so much fun going together with Pepper too to get away."
"Yea and YOU were alway too scared of jumping off of the cliffs. You said you would drown or something and then one day you came over your fear and got through it. You faced your fear and jumped, then after that jumping off was like a walk in the park. That's what I mean about this mission, it'll be scary at first for sure but after this I'm sure you'll feel better and you won't be as scared on the next," he said with a smile.
"You pushed me off the cliff!"
"Push.. Jumped it's the same thing really," he patted my shoulder before walking off.
"No it's not!" I shouted as he walked into the elevator and left.
I turn to see Bucky smiling and chuckling.
