Chapter 3

  This weekend past by pretty quickly and it was now Monday and I'm pretty sure that Steve's friend the winter soldier is supposed to be here by now. I'm sure he is because I haven't seen Tony anywhere so I'm sure he's with him now. I'm still frustrated to not be able to be apart of anything with them but then again I'm not really up to meet him seeing as he could be dangerous and I'm not really well trained to be handling another more dangerous super soldier.

I ended up going downstairs to where the infirmary is to find Steve and I found Shuri instead.

"Miss Stark!"

"Oh my god Shuri! I've missed you how have you been? What are you doing here?"

"It's nice to see you too I've missed you as well. As for why I'm here, I'm here to help Mr Barnes with his arm and other issues."

"Mr Barnes?"

"You know The White Wolf?" She said as if I should know.

"I- I'm sorry I'm not sure who your-"

"She's talking about Steve's friend I told you about genius," Tony said walking into the hallway with us.

"Oh! Right yea. You're helping with that?"

"Yes I believe I know how to erase the words that have been burned into his mind by hydra. As well as help him with a new arm."

"New arm?"

"J how many times do I haft to tell you to stop butting in? Do I have to ask Friday to lock you in your room until he leaves to get you to listen?" He said cutting Shuri off before she got to explain what she was talking about.

"I was just coming to look for you , you've been so busy and I need your help with my suit that's the whole reason I went into the meeting I wasn't supposed to and you've been like nowhere these past days so I just came to ask you because I'm done waiting."

"Fine I'll be there when I'm done here."

"Well how long will you ta-"

Before I could finish my sentence I heard a loud scream coming from the infirmary where everyone seemed to be "helping" Steve's friend.

"Woah what was that?"

"It's fine that's just Barnes he's fine."

"He doesn't sound fine, what are you guys doing to him?"

"Something that doesn't concern you for the...hundredth time Jane," he said looking at me frustrated until he saw my worried expression and soften his look a bit.

"Look it's fine they are just testing some things, we never said it would be an easy process and he knows this. Besides Steve is there with him and he's the best person to be with him while we figure out what's wrong," he said as I looked back to Shuri.

"This is true, he's in good hands Miss Jane don't worry."

"Okay," I sighed.

"Go on up and I'll be there once we're done," Tony told me before I nodded and left.

After about thirty minutes later Tony came back up to help me basically fix my suit since I couldn't get it to elevate properly and I know he also had trouble with that until he figured it out.

"Well your suit looks pretty good I love the new features you added to it. Did you name your assistant?"

"Yep it's D.A.T.E ."

"Date? What does that stand for?"

"Darlenes Awesome Tech Eclectic."

"Oh..why not use your first name?"
