Chapter 43

He ended up explaining to me that the mission was about some bomb threats made by some men who have hijacked the World Trade Center for some reason and now all the people inside are in danger.

"So we will try to find all the guys responsible and detain them as well as try to find the bombs before they go off."

"Okay," I say nodding along as he explains it to me. Everyone else was just sitting and waiting since he had already explained it to them while I was gone.

"You are going to to help Vision, Clint and Sam get as many people out out there as possible. We can't have people in the building in case we don't find the bombs or get them away in time."

"Okay," I say understanding what to do.

I can see why Bucky seemed worried. It does sound dangerous which was putting me on edge but I'm not nearly as afraid as I was on my first mission.

"Okay here put these on so we can all communicate," he says handing me an ear piece. I take it and turn it on before slipping in on.

We arrived a minutes later and we all disbanded going our own ways to do our jobs. Steve,Nat,Tony and Wanda were in charge of finding the men and the bombs.

I started getting people from the very top floors to hold on to me so I could fly them down quicker. Sam was also doing the same as me which helped get the job done quicker.

One by one I grabbed a bunch of civilians and flew them to safety until there was only a mother and her daughter left. She didn't want to leave her daughter so she asks me to take her daughter first to make sure she would at least be safe.

I got her and she gripped my suit tight like I told her as I held her firm and flew us down to safety.

"That was fun," she says with a smile.

I just laughed and flew up to grab her mother. I brought her down quickly and as I set her down she instantly grabbed her daughter and started crying.

"Thank you," she says in tears.

"No problem, now get out of here. Get somewhere safe."

She nods and leaves as quickly as possible with her daughter in her arms.

I made my way back, now for the harder part and tried to get everyone at the bottom to get out.

"Tony there's not much we can do these are about to explode any minute now and there isn't anywhere to take them or how to disable them without risking them blowing up," Steve said through the earpiece.

"Great, then just catch the bombers and everyone try to get as much people out as you can before the place collapses."

I notice how vision had helped lots of people out already but Clint was fighting of one of the bad guys. I assume as he was trying to help people get out. It seemed like the door to a main area was locked as I heard cries coming from inside.

I used my blast powers to break the door down. They were all startled but as soon as it was opened they started running out.

"Vision, Arrows, Jane! Have you got everyone out?"

"Almost! Everyone's running out and Cli- I mean Hawkeye is stuck fighting off one of the bombers."

"Alright well hurry it up because we found two bombs now but there is still one missing and we don't know how long we have left."
