VII. Luna part 11

I had done nothing all day but lay there... I didn't want to move. I heard a knock at the door. I just looked at the door...maybe its just a delivery I looked back towards the ceiling. There was another knock. I rose out of bed and opened the door. It was loki.

"Hello there Luna...are you busy."

I stood in shock, that he would actually return...maybe he forgot something... I don't know.

"no, I'm off today."

"good I was hoping we could hang out today."

My mouth dropped... what did he just say...he wants to hang out I began to feel like butterflies in my stomach and a smile creep onto my face. I looked at Loki who was staring at me directly into my eyes very intensely.... I had just then noticed......I had not put my contacts in, and he just witnessed my eyes change color... I backed away slowly... I was becoming terrified; I didn't know what else to do...his eyes were growing wide I just knew they were changing at every second shit.... shit...shit...he's going to go to the police, or psychiatrist, or doctor. or take me to the military... or maybe the military will show up here and take me!!! NO! snap out of it! Control your emotions. No No he knows.. I'm going to die... I continue to back away from the door growing more and more fearful. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out....

Loki had stepped through the doorway, he put his hand on my back...

"hey easy...easy deep breathes" I could not calm down.... Loki pulled me into his and embraced me with a hug and he rubbed my head.... I choked on my own breath, quivering... and finally I was calm. I backed away from Loki.

"why are you so scared" loki looked very caring... he brushed a piece of my hair out of my face.

"I---I was born with a rare disease....... My eyes aren't like other peoples, if they were to find out, I would be taken and examined... and I-I – "I began to choke on my own words.

"hey...shhhh shhhh shhh its ok I won't tell anymore ok...I swear it... your secret is safe with me..." Loki embraced me. This was the first time we have touched. His skin was cool, and he smelled of applewood and flowers. I began to get butterflies again.

"You really swear never to tell" I looked at him with desperation.

I could see the concern in Loki's eyes and I'm sure he could see the worry in mine.

He brushed my cheek with his thumb.

"Yes, I swear I will never tell."

We stood silent for a few moments before I pulled away.

"So, is it okay if we hangout" he asked cheerfully.

I just smiled at him.

"Would you like to see my garden" I asked filling the empty silence.

He gave me a pleased smile and nodded.

It was a bright beautiful day, I took one step outside and looked down at my arms. I was still in a tank top.

"Excuse me for one second please" I said shyly.

I ran back inside to put on a cardigan. Not only was I not wearing a bra, but I didn't want to chance Loki seeing me arms and becoming uncomfortable.

Outside Loki was admiring my flowers.

"You have a really nice garden" "how do you keep it so beautiful."

"Oh- idk I guess I just have a green thumb."

Loki looked down at my hands with a puzzled looked.
