The Midgardian? - A Loki Story

Part 35

The rest of the evening consisted of me being thanked and praised and told how beautiful I was I don't think I had ever gotten so much praise. But they weren't lying, not just the garden but the entire planet seemed to glow a brighter green and I did have a new sense of self confidence. I just can't believe that I am the one to hold this, I always knew I was good with plants but never imagined it was that I could actually feel what they needed and hold the power to bring them to life.

"So, how's it feel to be the greenest thumb in the universe" Loki laughed

"It feels good, like I'm connected to everything living around me and it's blissful" I said happily.

"You know, you look really good in green" he smirked. "Green was my thing but I guess we can share seeming how beautiful you look in it" he grinned as he pulled me close to him.

"I bet It looks even better around your ankles" he whispered into my ear

I knew I was blushing and Loki was feeling very mischievous and hungry. And as much as I wanted him... there was something I had to do.

"Loki... as much as I want you.. I do... there's something I gotta do first" I looked at him half waiting for him to be upset. He just smiled at me.

"Of course Luna I understand" he rubbed my head with his hand

"Will you come with me.." I asked shyly

"Of course, anything for you my love"

We made our way to the Bifrost and was shot to earth.

I was standing in my front yard. It was exactly as I left it. I shuddered my breathe.

"Is everything ok"

"Yeah, it's just weird how I'll never see this place again..."

"You don't have to get rid of anything Luna. This was your home and it still is apart of you." He paused "how about... we keep it as our little place, our escape for when we need a break of Asgard, we come here and be in our own little bubble where no one can bother us"

"I'd like that idea but since I have no use for half of this stuff now I want to do something for my mom, she's been a life saver to me and I just want to repay her"

"I understand, what did you have in mind"

"Well, first I'm going to call my job and quit, second I'm going to get the electricity cut off so."

"You don't need to do that I have a friend that will handle that for us so we could still have a functioning house."

"Oh well ok and I wanted to pull my money from my bank and give some to my mother to use"

Loki nodded in approval.
