Upon entering back into our chambers, there was a beautiful dress laid out on the bed. It was long and shimmered gold.
"Loki, I don't know if I can wear this given the circumstances..."
"I really shouldn't have been so rough."
I beamed at him making sure he knew I didn't like when he said that.
"I have an idea." He said while quickly grabbing my hand and walking me out the door and down multiple hallways. We reached a door and Loki knocked.
"Come in" a beautiful voice replied.
We stepped into the doorway and closed the door behind us. It was Frigga and she was standing about the room that was filled with so many varieties of plants, herbs, and jars.
"Mother, we need some help" Loki said slowly.
"Of course, my dears, what's the problem"
I gulped. Loki nudged me forward and her eyes fell to me.
"Umm, well you see... we have that ceremony today."
"Yes, that's right, is there something wrong"
I looked at Loki nervously and he nodded in approval.
"Well, you see, umm Loki and I.... may or may not have gotten to excited last night and ... now I have bruises that will be seen in the dress I'm suppose to wear tonight.." I said shyly. "But it's not that I'm ashamed of them or anything or I'm being hurt in any kind of way, I would just prefer the entire kingdom... not know mine and Loki's business." I blurted out to finish my sentence.
She looked amused. She looked at Loki who gave her a awkward smile... and I could feel the heat radiating off my cheeks. I was blushing too hard.
"Well it's no business what you door behind closed doors" she snickered "but Loki dear, you want to work on that sound proofing spell I taught you" she laughed
My mouth dropped and I was loss for words.... How loud was I last night...?
Frigga took my hand in hers. "Well, no matter. I'll get you fixed up good as new" she said gleefully.
Frigga had been putting a variety of herbs and flowers into a pot until she said, "alright it's done, I made a little bit extra... for possible future endeavors" she smiled at Loki as she poured the mixture into a jar.
"All it takes is a sip, so it should last you quite some time until I can teach Loki how to make it for you."
I nodded awkwardly. Thanked her and went back to our chambers to get ready.
I opened the jar and took a small sip of it. Placed the lid back on and put it on my vanity. My skin began to tingle, so I undid my dress, let it drop and pool around my feet. I looked in the vanity mirror and the bruises and bite marks had disappeared. Loki came and wrapped his arms around me and looked at me through the mirror. "You look beautiful and it makes me sad to see the markings go" he grinned.
I turned to face him. "It's ok you'll just do it again tonight, and the next, and the next" I smiled at him. He cupped my cheek in the palm of his hand. "I can not wait to spend forever with you" he whispered. "And forever I will be yours" I said softly into his lips.
