The Midgardian? - A Loki Story

Part 34

The garden was full of people socializing. I could feel their eyes on me. But for the first time in my life, I was confident. 

My skin shimmered in the sunlight and my dark green dress flowed around me with each step I took. My hair looked slightly darker than before and flowed down my body resting at my mid back. As I walked hand in hand with Loki towards the front of the garden, everyone shifted aside and bowed at me. I could feel the ground and grass between my feet, and I have never felt more at home.

"It's good to see you like this Luna, a pure Ladroian you make a beautiful princess Luna. I'm assuming you know what to do" Odin said.

"Yes" I replied with a smile "I know exactly what to do"

I turned and faced the crowd that was now giving me their full attention.

I signaled my hand for them to back up and they did just that

I knelt down at the ground and ran my fingers through the grass. I could feel myself began to radiate heat and the my skin began to glow along with my eyes. I pushed my fingers into the ground and let nature take over.

Light shone through out my body and into the ground in every direction lighting up everything in its path. I could feel Asgard's life force and it had been weakened. I pushed firmer into the ground sending more light in. I could feel the planet getting stronger. I could feel everything around me growing.

I opened my eyes and stood up. The grass shone greener, every tree, bush, flower had fully blossomed to their fullest ability, there was even new trees everywhere that was scarce. Every flower of every color lined the entire garden. I could smell the nature.

I turned and looked at Loki who looked completely shocked. Odin looked very pleased with himself and Frigga looked happy that I was happy. I turned to the crowd who was now standing in the greenest grasses and brightest flowers I had ever seen. They all began to cheer and clap. I felt a cool hand press against my back.

"I don't know what you did Luna, but that was amazing. I have never seen anything like that before, so much beautiful power. You truly are remarkable" Loki said while nudging my face with his

I saw Odin in the corner of my eye so I took a step back from Loki and looked at him

"Luna, it is such a blessing to have you here and to see what I just witness, you have amazing gifts and I'm happy you are doing so well" "Luna" Odin paused, "your parents were wonderful people and I can see why now they trusted you with so much power, you have so much to offer, your parents would be so proud of you Luna"

I wrapped my arms around Odin's neck giving him a big hug "thank you so much for believing in me"

"Of course child but that was all you and your parents, I'm just happy you can be reunited with the thoughts of them"
