II. Loki part 4

I stood looking up at the building. "Are you sure this is the place", I said with a lot of annoyance in my voice.

"Yes brother, father wouldn't have sent us to the wrong place"
Thor and I stood outside the building looking up at it in disbelief that this is where odin had hid the key. "how do you want to go about this" I chuckled with an evil tone to my laughter.
"we're not killing anyone if that's what you mean brother; were just here for the key, I'm sure you can manage keeping it stealthy" thor spoke jokingly.

We were about to step towards the building when I felt someone push into me. I immediately was angry and raised my fists. Thor grabbed my hand and I paused to look down. It was just a girl laying at my feet. She was groaning and I could see the bloody scrapes on her arm from the fall. I reached down to help her. I looked at her as she was catching her balance. I saw it. I saw her eye. It was a blazing pink and swirls of green, and not just any pink a pink that had a glow to it that made all other pinks dull in comparison. Could it be.... No, it was impossible. That race was extinct years ago. I couldn't process what I was seeing, this girl...on earth had a pure pink eye...but it was just the one...if it were it was supposed to be both of her eyes...not just one. I was at a loss of words...I saw her look at me. She immediately got red in the face and put her hand over her eye. I heard the faintest little gasp escape from her lips. She took off running.

I was paralyzed by what I just witnessed.

"she lost her wallet" Thor said as he bent to pick it up "poor girl must have had a bad day to just away like that" thor was now facing me "Loki...... loki"
I turned my attention to him
"are you okay brother" he asked looking puzzled "yes I'm fine, what's that" I questioned as I didn't hear a word he said.
"its her wallet, I'm guessing she dropped it when she fell...should we try to return it"
I reached for the wallet and thor pulled it back
"ack, what do you think you're doing"
"I was going to look at it to see if there's any information so we could return it"
"since when do you care if a mere mortal loses stuff" Thor laughed pryingly.
"I don't I was just going to help you since I know you will try to return it" I glared at him.
He handed me the wallet I opened it to her license. I read the address and memorized it. I turned the middle piece. There was a card: Luna Taylor. Environmental Specialist. 146 S 2nd street, Atlanta, GA. I turned the wallet towards thor,
"see here, take it here and give it to someone to give to her" "what are you going to do loki"
"I'm going to come up with a plan on how to get that key out"
"alright brother I will see you later" Thor turned and walked away from me.
I stood in the exact spot where she had run into me. I was going to prove I wasn't going crazy; I'm going to go to her house. I walked toward an ally and shape-shifted into a bird and flew towards the address.

I perched on a branch near a window. I saw her pacing back and forth in the room. She stood still a few moments with her eyes closed. She then opened her eyes and reached for her phone. I watched as she talked on the phone for a minute and then put the phone down. She walked over to her mirror. I watched closely as she took out the contact from her eye...that's why they were different colors, she has contacts in to disguise her eye color I watched her for a good while. She seemed to be in great turmoil. It seemed she was in the middle of panic... I saw her lay on her bed...then she got up and came outside. This is my chance to see her up close. I flapped my wings. She heard me...she's talking to me... I decided to get a better look and flew down to bench next to her. I heard her giggle and hold open her hand. She obviously wanted me to get in her hand, so I did. She pulled me up to eye level. And there I could see it. Both of her eyes, they were a yellow and pink color. My heart dropped. It couldn't be. They are extinct. I was feeling confusion and even as a bird I was losing my balance. I flew off her hand and landed on a post and I just watched her in disbelief. I saw her reach down and touch a plant...she giggled and reached for the water pail. I gasped. She looked over me. I stood very still. She picked up the watering pail and watered the flower she had touched... almost like she knew exactly what the plant needed... I was in a state on utter confusion. She turned and was going inside. I wasn't done observing her. I needed to know who she was...I heard the window open, so I flew and stopped at her window seal. She saw me and gave me a faint smile. She then got cozy in bed.

I watched her get ready in the morning. I saw her put the contacts in that completely sealed in her beautiful eyes. Why does she conceal such beauty...I was going to spend the day watching her and learn about her.
