III. Luna part 5

The day began like any other and I got ready to go to work. I realized I was hungry. Upon, getting in the car, I reached for my purse to grab my wallet to check how my much cash I had on me...I couldn't find it...it was gone. I dug through my entire purse looking... I tried thinking where it could be...shit it must be lost when I fell yesterday, I put my head to the steering wheel and took a big sigh... ok its ok I buckled my seat belt and drove to work.

"Ms. Taylor" I turned to see Sarah standing behind the desk
"yes" I replied confused as she had never spoke to me before.
"this was dropped off here yesterday by a young gentleman who said you dropped it yesterday" she was extending her arm and in her hand was my wallet.
"oh my god, thank you so much I thought I lost it yesterday" I sighed with relief and she nodded at me.

The workday proceeded as normal, but I was slightly more content. It was Friday. I had a long weekend ahead of me as I had taken some time off work finally. And I have my wallet. It was going to be a good day.

The workday finally ended, and I was walking out of the building.

"Luna" an unfamiliar voice called to me from behind.

I tuned and saw a man leaned against the building. When he saw I turned to him, he stood up straight and walked to me. He was a tall guy, with a black suit on with equally black hair. His face was chiseled in a way that would make anyone turn their head. And his eyes, they looked at me as he proceeded closer, his eyes were a piercing green, the mere sight of this man was amazing, I had actually never seen a person so attractive......and this man is walking towards me I could feel my cheeks get warm...it's a good thing I had my contacts in...

"umm-hi, I'm sorry do I know you" I said with a slight smile on my face to come off friendly.

"No, hello my name is Loki, I don't mean to be here I just wanted to make sure you were alright and that you got your wallet" He said so smoothly, calm, and collected.

"I-I um yes sorry yes hi I'm Luna, you must be the gentleman that returned my wallet, look thank you so much you're such a life saver and I hope it wasn't too much trouble... as for if I'm ok yes, just a few scratches but nothing time can't heal" ...I was rambling "so yes, thank you. Uhm, how are you."

"I'm fine" he chuckled. "I'm not really the one who fell" he was being very smirk and sarcastic yet concerned. "and it was no trouble really I was in the area and it wasn't that big of a deal."

"it is to me. So, thank you so much" I knew my face was blushing, I just hope he thinks I'm hot in the cardigan or something.

"you're welcome, look I'm new in the area, and I know you don't know me, but that's how all great friendships starts, so I was wondering if you would like to get dinner with me" he said is so confidently like he already knew I would say yes...

"oh wow –thank you, yes I would love to (you have to see your mom today) I mean no" he looked puzzled and shocked, "I mean yes I would love to-I just- uhm- I have prior plans with my mother tonight, I'm sorry."

I could see his face relax "no it's not a problem what about tomorrow."

I was shocked. This man who is insanely gorgeous, not only understood I had prior engagements but wants to reschedule... I have never even had someone breathe in my direction much less actually want to plan to see me.

"yes, I would love that" a smiled beamed out of me and my cheeks felt very warm. I was blushing way to hard.

"should I pick you up, say 6 tomorrow" I was grinning a stupid smile "ok" I said without hesitation and a bit too much enthusiasm.

"well, I guess I will see you tomorrow."

"alright" I was still smiling.

"alright... bye"

"bye"

He turned and walked away from me...what in the world just happened. I smiled and I happily stepped to my car. I was on my way to go to my moms.
