The morning rays danced on the walls of my room as I opened my eyes and blinked a couple of times to get adjusted to the light. I could feel the coolness of Loki's skin on my back. I rolled over to face him. Without opening his eyes.
"Good morning beautiful"
I could already tell I was blushing. He opened his eyes and looked into mine. His smile was the same as last night. He leaned in and kissed me ever so gently...
"Good morning handsome"
I saw the smirk crawl onto his face.
"Would you like some breakfast" I nuzzled my face into his neck.
"if it means having you get out of this bed, then no" I could feel his smile form from laying under his chin.
He snaked his arms around me and pulled me close. He rested his chin atop of my head. I heard my phone ding. I don't know who could have been messaging me this early in the morning.
I attempted to roll but Loki groaned and held on tighter. "I have to check it" I chuckled I rolled over and reached for my phone: Good morning sweetie wanna come over for lunch today?
I didn't have it in me to reply right that second. I put my phone back down and rolled back to Loki. Loki was wide eyed.
"Hey is everything okay?"
"Yeah.... I must go"he said as he shot out of bed and waved his hand and clothes appeared on him.
"Wait. what" I said in disbelief
"I'm sorry I really must go" Loki turned and darted for the door.
I sat there.... In complete sorrow.... What just happened. The could not help tears began to form in my eyes and a lump began to form in my throat making it harder to swallow. I pulled the covers back over my head and cried.
