"I can't Father, I can't."

"It's a sin-- everything's a sin now. I need a glimpse a paradise. Why me, God? He's testing us, you mustn't give into the temptation--"

It was too late. She pulled the trigger.

There were only five left.

Father Rudy, Marisa, Chandler, Dean and Axel.

"This group is going to hell. We just lost our last hope." Father Rudy said.

Axel stared into Dean's eyes.

"I'm going with Sammy and Mom and Dad. And you're coming with me." Dean shot Axel in the head then put the gun his his mouth.

Then pulled the trigger.

And then there were three.

"Sinners." Father Rudy spat and left.

"You're gonna leave us like that?" Chandler called out.

Father paused.

"What would Jesus do, Father?'

"Jesus is dead, and he wouldn't save a snot nose kid like you."

The two were shocked by these words.

Father Rudy apologised.

"What now?" Marisa asked.

"We take apart a robot and figure it out. Chandler, do you know how to hack a computer?"

"Of course, Father."

"I'll be back." Father Rudy walked away.

- Father's Log -

I honestly don't know how I'll take down a robot.

I've never worked with robots.

But what can you do?

I'm stuck with children.

I miss Lindsay.

She was like a sister to me.

I had always wanted a sister.

If aliens are up to this then they must be doing it for a reason.

I'm not afraid of death. If I die while doing this I will go to an eternal heaven.

There's nothing to it.

I wandered around, unarmed.

God wouldn't save me and I didn't care.

I finally found one.

A small one, it was probably once a Mini Cooper.

"Hey!" I called out.

It turned to me.

This wasn't a child of God, I had no pity.

But half its face was torn out, wires hung over the edge.

There was a soul. I could feel it.

"Come, my child." I held my hand out high.

I grabbed its pinky and led it to Marisa and Chandler.

I couldn't kill it.

It's not like I knew how, anyways.

I was in luck. Thank you, father almighty.

Father over and out.-

Father Rudy led the Mini Cooper to the camp.

Marisa and Chandler gasped.

"He will let you inspect him."

Chandler nodded, the robot laid down and Chandler opened him up.

"Can we call it Bean?" Father asked.

"Why?"

"He looks like a Mini Cooper. Mr. Bean drove a Mini Cooper. It only makes sense."

"Who's Mr. Bean?" Chandler asked.

Father Rudy stayed quiet.

Chandler got oil all over himself and due to the California heat, he was sweaty.

"Your thoughts are sinful." Father told Marisa.

Marisa blushed, "how do you know."

"I know girls more than you think."

"How can you keep faith like this?"

"Must I always repeat myself. You'll ignore me anyways."

"I've never been much of a believer-"

"Then this is the time to prove yourself."

"We all just turn to dust and everything goes black when we die."

"Then I can see why you want to stay alive for as long as you can. It's getting awfully hot."

Then, out of the blue, came three girls.

Marisa's eyes lit up, "Jennifer, Alexia, Sydonia!!"

"Hey, Marisa." Jenny said.

Sydonia walked to the robot with Alexia.

"What are you doing?" Marisa asked.

"We're engineers, Father. And we know how to solve this." Alexia said.

"How?"

"It's just a hunch, really." Sydonia said.

"Are you an engineer?" Father Rudy asked Jenny.

"No, I'm still in high school. Those two are in college. But I've known Sydonia since kindergarten and Alexia since sixth grade, we're just an inseparable group."

"Glad to have you."

"Alexia'll take care of this. I'm going hunting. I don't care if the species is endangered." Sydonia said and walked into the depths of the mountains.

Alexia laughed, "I always do the work."

Chandler watched Alexia, Sydonia came back later and said, "hey, pervert!"

Chandler jumped, "I wasn't--"

"Suure. Marisa, you believe this guy?"

"She should. I'm her boyfriend."

Sydonia laughed, "I have seen you before. We'll take a large Italian pizza." A smirk filled her face then she added, "if you know what I mean."

Nobody laughed. Marisa and Jennifer grimaced. Alexia then said, "I don't get it."

"Of course you don't. You're too innocent."

Chandler chuckled.

Sydonia said, "he's a white boy, it has to be small. It's all he can handle."

"That's enough, donut." Jennifer said, "let's eat before it gets dark."

"I didn't realise I was feeding everyone. Alexia how did it go?"

Alexia shook her head. "Then you missed something. C'mon." The two walked to the robot.

"I think we have a new leader." Father Rudy said then sighed, "it won't be too long before they're all gone."

"Aren't you a ray of sunshine." Marisa said.

Father Rudy could see Sydonia and Alexia arguing, Marisa and Chandler flirting and Jennifer cooking squirrels.

The group was hopeless and he knew it.
