Axel looked different.

His black hair wasn't neatly combed, it was all over the place.

He was still clean shaven, his blue eyes seemed to have a deeper gaze.

A cigarette sprouted out of the corner of his mouth, blood cascaded down his forehead from a medium sized gash at the very top of his sideburn.

He wore black pants and black shoes, both still clean.

He threw his cigarette on the floor and put it out with the bottom of his shoe.

If Anne, Sheila or Melinda were there, they'd probably wig out or tackle him with kisses. Or probably a bit more.

He had a good build and his hair gave him a sexy look.

Cindy, she could only drool.

"The name's Argo," Axel said.

Cindy thought Dean was hot stuff, which he was, but next to Axel, Dean wasn't so hot.

She had been dating Sam for a while now but he was distant.

"Argo, I'm Cindy."

Axel flashed a sweet smile, Cindy gasped to herself.

Axel turned to the boy, about twelve, "I uh.. found this little guy."

"Charlie!" Nathanael ran to the boy and hugged him.

"Where's Lindsay?" Father Rudy asked.

Mike interrupted, "did you find Carol or Beth?"

Charlie said, panting, "down by the old creek."

"I'll go fetch them." Axel ran away.

"Some guy, huh?" Dean said, unimpressed.

"He's really cool." Cindy almost said the opposite. (Clarification: He's really hot.)

"Yea yea yea! He's super cool!" Charlie said.

"Are there anymore biters?" Dean asked.

"No," Father Rudy stated, "we handled it. Now, let us pray."

Dean rolled his eyes, bowed his head and held his brother's hand.

Axel grabbed the duffel bag he hid near the creek, he heard screaming.

He ran as the screamer grew louder.

"Dean! Help!" he heard a woman say.

Axel could only smirk, he caught himself and yelled, "Honey, I'm coming!"

There were three girls. Two probably in their twenties and the other probably almost twice their age.

Axel would've smiled or hit on them if they weren't surrounded by zombies.

He grabbed a knife and helped the unarmed women.

The oldest one had a small knife and assisted Axel.

After a long while, they were all fine.

Axel smiled, "I'm Argo."

"Carol." The older one said.

"Lindsay." Another said.

"Ah, you're very popular with the priest."

"Ugh, I don't even know him, he's like obsessed with me."

"Well, I don't blame him."

Lindsay rolled her eyes, Beth and Carol smiled.

"Love you, too, babe."

At that, Lindsay scoffed but blushed like crazy.

Axel may have been working these girls but he was really worried about Anne and Gus, they were just kids.

Gus was far past scared. His dad's van was chasing them.

Like many boys his age, he was in love with transformers.

But this?

Oh, this scared him straight.

There was no way to fight them all, luckily they were slow or they'd be dead.

The virus hadn't reached Axel or his new group.

They were a strong group, a lot stronger than Roberto's.

And, they even worked together, it seemed like they all got along.

Axel wanted to break that bond so much.

He'd probably bang all the girls, the guys seemed attached to them.

Yep, that'd be the way to break them.

Especially Father Rudy.

Axel threw a mint in his mouth, he'd break Mike first by hitting on Beth.

When they went to the cathedral, Axel found another guy.

Daryl.

Fry two fish with one skillet.

Axel stayed closer to Beth.

"What's your name, sir?" She asked. They were talking privately behind the cathedral.

"I'm Argo," he flashed a smile then added, "and please, don't call me 'sir'."

"So, call you Argo?"

He nodded and put his arm around her, causing her to blush.

"You really shouldn't-"

"Hey, chill, babe, we're not doing anything bad. Not yet, anyway."

He stepped in front of her, looking her straight in the eyes, "it's the apocalypse, who knows how much longer we have now. Might as well make it last, right?" he leaned towards her.

Beth simply nodded.
